Solved Vault 88 entrance

I started vaultland 88 and my entire vault entrance disappeared and won’t come back. I tried reinstalling the mod, going to an old save and retrying and can’t get it to not disappear. I have the 3 in one, and both mega packs. Any idea how to make it come back?

Hi Angie.
People are probably going to need some more information to be able to help you with this.
Your load order (in spoiler tags, found in the '+' icon above) may show up potential conflicts.
I can't really see what's going on in the picture, some more shots or screen shots if possible may help.
If you could describe what sort of game set up you're playing (basic Sim Settlement, Conqueror, factions, how many settlements you have already etc). If you have any scrap mods loaded.
Under what circumstances the problem occurred, prebuilt settlement, just set off a city plan, just walked through the door.
Hopefully someone will have a solution for you if you can fill in a few blanks.

Unofficial fallout 4 patch, settlement electricity overhaul, true storms, sim settlements 3 in one, sim settlements mega pack one and two, sim settlements simple settlements, nobody’s leader, rs building addon, scrap that commonwealth, stc dlc, scrap that settlement, no settlement attack, snap beds, place anywhere, pumas long power lines, cheat terminal

I load the vault land 88 city plan, click yes tear it down then I watch the entrance disappear and the settlers fall through the screen over and over. The boxes workstation and vault door stay. I can fall over and over while walking forward and it’ll put me at the vault control panel outside the vault. There is no ladder or any way to get back in the vault from that entrance. Plus outside the city plan vault, the ground, ceiling, and side walls start to disappear.

have you got scrap mods in your game? they have been known to completely wreck vault 88.

I ended up removing all mods but sim settlements ones, unofficial fallout and cheat terminal and that fixed it. I think it was either the scrap mods or place anywhere that did it as it’s working now.

if you've removed mods and are still playing your game, there's a very good chance that the game is now wrecked. you can't remove mods mid play through.

Not place everywhere. scrapping yes

Haven’t had any issues yet. But I might later on. I’ll keep an eye out. Thank you.

I couldn't find the scrap that mods you have, but I would guess that they will be the culprit. Many mods like them remove the games precombine usage in order to make more things scrapable than were intended to be. Then when you try to run a city plan, the first thing it does is scrap anything scrapable. Put the two together and you end up with big holes in your settlements. They are also not good for your games performance.
Place Anywhere is definitely innocent and in fact a must when it comes to building settlements.
