..I got this. Been over a year since messing with FO4, so I don't recognize these files or know how important they are, if at all.

you shouldnt really continue a game with mods missing, it will corrupt it sooner or later. i'd go and download them, personally, just to minimise the chance of that happening.

Well, im using the save file provided as part of the city plan contest mod, and I don't believe those mods are an inherent part or even authorized for the contest. I just needed know what they were.

If they are by chance a requisite piece, though I doubt, then someone within Kinggath and Co. should note that.

I'm guessing they were present when whomever made the save file to unlock all the settlements.

ah ok, i see, i thought it was something you'd loaded once, and then removed.
if you're simply loading in the game then there shouldn't be no problem as you never had the mods to begin with.

It might be ok?
It might not?
You can play forward in that save and check with fallrim.

If you get unattached instances it might be an indication of which "might" you are looking at.
Several add-ons have them as optional. What's important, were they installed and enabled when the save file you are using was created as @1ae0bfb8 pointed out. From the screenshot, the answer is yes so it is the users call.

It is your save file now, so it is your call.

I dont think removing those will do anything tbh, check ur save with fallrim like Raybo said, note down the unattached instances that are already there if any, load up the save without the mods enabled, re save, and re open fallrim to see which new unattached instances got added and delete those, if you really want to make sure

Sorry for what might be a noob question here but is this true if every “mod” removed? For instance I deleted a bunch of city plans (none in use) and an add-on pack (floatsam and jetsam... not in use either)... I assumed these would be safe to remove without danger. Was I wrong?
