Users please be aware that another website has copied the Sim Settlements website completely, including the forum posts. The most likely reason for this is to capture username and passwords from you as you try to login to their site. The user who discovered this had their login attempts rejected. Please be very cautious and pay attention to the URL of the site you are trying to log into, especially if directed to the page from a Google search result instead of your bookmark.
If you accidentally attempted to log into the fake site please change your password for this site IMMEDIATELY.

NEVER use the same username and password on multiple sites. If the username and password you use for Sim Settlements is also used on other accounts and you think you might have accidentally attempted to login to the scam site with it then you also need to change the username and password for all other sites you used it for. A password manager is a great and secure way to maintain a large number of accounts in this day and age so that re-using the same password and username isn't necessary.

DArn there's nothing I hate more  not even greedy game developers are worse than these people who cheat good people like this..

No clue. Just got smacked with it, though...shoulda remembered the login page doesn't look like that...changed my password as fast as I could, though...I use LastPass, so I knew the password was right. Edit: How crappy is it that you can't even type the address into the browser? That's how I got hit. I typed it in. And it's the same address. Went to log in, "The entered credentials could not be verified". This is some major bs.

Because people that have 10, 15, 20, or 30 accounts on any given thing tend to use the same password all around.
Yes.

Many also have a saved credit card attached to some of those accounts.

Fancy buying some stuff and handing it over to someone else? It wasn’t you? Prove it.
