No. Can you please be more specific about which files. Screenshots of the warning would be awesome.

Also please try and do a better title? It will make it easier for people to know what to help with :)

to be fair ive deleted the threat and deleted sim settlements. Is it safe to use or not? i want it to be as it's awesome and yup screen shot would of been an idea but i panicked a bit as i'm not exactly pc savvy.

Sim settlement most definitely is safe. Unless you didn't download it from Nexus there should be no reason you should be getting warnings.

If you download and install it again and get the same warning please screenshot.

Its safe to download ,its a problem with window defender

here is kinggaths response on nexus about this issue

I have confirmed the file has no trojans or other malware. I have no idea why some people are getting this flag.

I've even re-downloaded the mod from Nexus to see if the issue was their servers and am not seeing anything. I've scanned on multiple computers with Malware Bytes, Norton, Kaspersky, and uploaded it to virustotal.com and no hits. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21872?tab=posts&BH=1

Still unsure if i reinstall this mod or not, find it weird how it only became apparent today used it for the last week or so and it was fine up to now :(

have you checked it on virustotal?
its best to validate a report on several different sources if possible. if you're still uneasy, don't install it, problem solved.

Well i installed the three in one version and it didn't flag anything, very strange!! hopefully all is well in the common wealth when i try to play, thanks all for info and responses.

So after looking at your screenshot the virus warning is for the partial file the NMM creates when downloading.

Please do me a favor to confirm a theory. Don't download this with NMM but use the manual download option on the website and download it with your browser and see if you get the same warning?

@uituit I wonder if this issue is isolated to NMM?

I have seen false positives before. Make sure it is up to date.

Here is what I did a long while back when it was freaking out over steam.

Silly Windows 10 :crazy

Happens with Vortex as well so its not a mod manager issue.
