i saw a couple of blueprints on the nexus I would like to try out. I think I read somewhere that it doesn't conflict with SS. I installed it and checked my pipiboy inventory for the holotape, I couldn't find it so I crafted one at a chem station. i had downloaded and installed a blueprint so I attempted to import a settlement for Spectacle island. apparently I have no blueprints for that zone. i can't make head or tail of it. could any one point me to an idiots guide to Transfer settlements please?

thanks for the reply woodfuzzy, but what video do you mean? sorry if I'm being thick.

The one linked in the post above... ya know.. the one that didn't link properly the first time! LOL

i watched the video. I like the minimalistic slant he has. the problem I have is when I am in game and standing inside a build zone, I select the holotape and click on import blueprint. i always get the message " no blueprints available " or something like that. I think now I have copied and pasted the folders of that guys minipad mod into the blueprints folder, I should be fine. I'm about to load a save and see.

i started importing the blueprint for the Sanctuary hills minipad. I saw everything as in the video except my import never went past 0% I got one piece of wall and that was it. when F4SE gets updated I will try again.

my joy was short lived. see attached.

what have I done wrong this time?

I found a guide on the nexus about how to revert the game version. i'm so pleased I did.
i'm not bothered about Transfer Settlement Blueprints anymore, uninstalled and forgotten.
I have built a Sanctuary Hills settlement myself. 22 settlers all with homes and jobs. it looks a mess but they seem happy.

I did eventually reinstall TSB. A new wrinkle has appeared. as we wait for Transfer Settlement Blueprints to be updated, I thought it would be wise to disable it for now. the warnings i was getting, when loading a save, were alarming. now it's disabled. I still get warnings, how? if it's disabled?

Nb. I just happened to look at my activated plugins list. guess what? IDEK's logistic station was disabled. DOH!

this is the warning I get even after disabling transfer settlements

cured that by using the purge loose files tool in NMM. no more warnings.
