To people who use "SS2 Settlers UI": Do you use controller, or keyboard & mouse?

Title. OK, this thread is about add-on of SS2, specifically, this one.
It was once introduced by Kinggath in his video as a good one, and also mentioned by many as very useful MOD.

However, there is an issue, and since the MOD author has not made any comment since June, I would highly appreciate help from this forum.
Put shortly, I cannot control this MOD with my controller, but can control it with keyboard & mouse.
The problem is, the MOD says it supports controller, so I am not sure about who is the culprit of this issue: Me, or the MOD.

Therefore, before digging deeper into the issue, I would like to ask those who use the "SS2 Settlers UI".
Do you use controller or keyboard & mouse, and do you encounter any issue using this MOD?
If I can gather enough answer for that, I may be able to see what is wrong in this situation.

I would heartily appreciate your information. Thanks in advance!

Thank you! Just what I need!
OK, if you do not mind, would you give me a bit more details about how to operate it?

Like, do you use a stick to control a cursor, or do you push any button to use any function?
Well first you want to give it a minute - like MCM it can lag, but you need to use the left and right triggers to move between the tabs in the interface (at least that's how it works with my controller setup) - then you can use the stick to scroll up and down through the choices to select the settler or the plot. If you are just trying to use the stick right away it may not be working for you because you have to use the triggers to move to the other tabs first.

Thank you! OK, by "trigger" you must mean LB or RB. That did nothing in my setting, but providing some more time could be a solution...

If you do not mind, there is one more thing I would like to ask: Is your controller new, or old?
Mine is a decade old, and I am wondering if that is the cause of the issue.

I mean LT or RT. Mine is about 3 years old.

I'm still trying to figure out how to make it open. was able to create it, but that's it. Not in any menu.
Well, that is unfortunate. In my case, I can at least open the menu (and close it) even with my controller.
By the way, I tried XBOX 360 controller and PS5 controller. Which controller do you use now?

So, as I mentioned, I tried XBOX 360 controller and PS5 controller, and took sometime before trying to operate the UI.
The result wasn't very good: I could open the UI and close it, but pressing LT and RT did not do any good to me.

Well, in any case, thank you for your information. I may submit my trial to the MOD page, hopefully the author will notice it in future.

OK, self update here. I...sort of...found a solution.
While using the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, I could operate this Settler UI MOD!
So is it really a matter of which controller do you use? I am not so sure...

Also, when using the Pro Con, its button mapping is different from that of XBOX 360, so that may contribute to the solution, but I don't know...

OK, self-update with even weirder situation.

After playing the game with Nintendo Switch Pro Con, I switched to my old XBOX 360 controller and...the UI MOD still can be controlled with that.
I just am not sure why things happen in this way, but I guess, for my part, the problem was really solved.
Maybe controlling the UI MOD with Pro Con "stimulated" it and now XBOX 360 controller can handle it as well!
