Supply Lines - A suggestion for SS

Are there any plans to make a dedicated supply line plot? I ask because as is, settlers assigned to supply lines won't build houses so there's constantly a bed shortage. I tried having a settler build their house before assigning them to a supply line and that worked, but then once they get assigned their house registers as for rent so the next settler that shows up just takes the now vacant, provisioner's house instead of building one and so I'm short a bed again. I worked around this by simply placing down a normal bed. The normal bed acts as the provisioner's bed and new settlers build their own houses as normal but it'd be nice if the provisioner could have their own normal resi plot like everyone else.

As a suggestion, settler is assigned to the supply depot (the supply line plot), once the depot builds, the settler sits at a desk with a ham radio on it. To his side is an idle protectron. Activating the protection pops up the destination window, select a destination and away it goes, supply line established. And perhaps, if possible, the Supply Depot can upgrade to provide additional benefits. Perhaps additional supply lines? At level 2, another protectron is acquired so a second supply line can be established, then a 3rd at level 3. Or if that's not possible or simply too OP to allow a single settler to run 3 supply lines, maybe the protectrons can upgrade as the supply depot does. Level 1, basic protectron, not even hand lasers. Level 2, hand lasers. Level 3, automatic hand lasers. That would largely be a useless buff since the provisioners can only be killed by the player, but if a settlement gets attacked while they're nearby they'll be more useful in defending the settlement.

I seem to recall that before I used IDEK's Logistics plot I found that assigning a settler to a house and _then_ to a supply line worked. This was quite a while ago but there definitely was a way.

Yeah it worked, for that once settler. Once they were assigned as a supply line their house would go vacant so as soon as another settler showed up they'd just take the vacant house instead of building one and you'd be short a bed again. The only SS solution was to assign the new settler to an unbuilt home to force them to build it. My workaround was to simply place a standard bed down and let that be the supply line settler's bed. By doing that new settlers would still build houses when they showed up.
