It may coincidence, but after I turned on control in the vassals, several strange things started to happen, and continue after several days in real time. My vassal guards turn into workers, and literally run through the gate and back to my main base. I change them back, assigning them to the vassals, but they still hang around the base. If I use the gavel, they seem to go back, but if I visit the vassal, they run back to the base again. Meanwhile, most of the workers just seem to have disappeared. It's hard to reassign them when I can't find them, so morale suffers. They show up on the HUD and table lists, but not even the gavel will bring them out. In addition, guards are auto assigned to plots other than martial, leaving martial plots vacant.

Like and Like and Like! I kept having those dudes straight up vanish on me but they still had a "presence", meaning they were sucking up resources while not performing a defense of the vassal. Appreciate you guys!

Hmmm... They're still running off for me. I'm just gonna turn off the attacks for now. Maybe it's another bug that needs working out.
After turning off vassal control, things went back to normal. I turned it back on, and have been playing for several hours with the guards still where they belong. When I changed them back from worker to guard, I noticed that the guard number on the screen went up, but the worker number did not go down. Definitely a bug. I also noticed that the mad running around in my HQ stopped. Go figure.

Re-Role-ing often produces a bit of a lag: the new and teh old show for a bit on the HUD. Going in and out of workshop mode usually forces things to update correctly for me.
