Solved Still seeing people colored Red. Also, deleting a badly-placed plot that isn't level with ground?

Hello!

So my Starlight Drive in setup is coming along. Now at 6 people from 3. Thing is, The ASAM sensor is turned onto check for homeless people and I have enough furniture beds... but there's a settler that's red still.

Does that mean I have to assign X person to both a residential and another non-residential plot? For instance, RESIDENCE + COMMERCIAL/MARTIAL? Or should I just not touch that setting for auto-assignment of a settler till after a plot's been built so I can renovate it afterwards?

More importantly, there's a stupid bloody thing that might make it impossible for the settler to get into a plot. It seems the plot is slightly elevated, and I can't figure out how to remove the plot and everythng that came with the plot... like this Agricultural Berry fountain or something... The water is hanging in the air...

Not sure what to do. How do I delete the plot? Should I place wood foundations before setting up a plot or something? Sometimes they won't snap on top of a foundation.

Second thing, if you have enough beds and auto assign is on, then they should assign to a bed. I have had to do it manually a few times, and yes its PITA.
They show yellow if they are not assigned to a work plot, but you select "find unemployed" from the ASAM sensor thing.
I wouldn't try and remove a plot until the city is at level 3. Then you can select stuff you want to change. If you have tried to remove the plot, and some stuff remains, likely there is a script lock (blockage/stack up), so either you just wait it out, or go on a mission or something to pass the time with you not in the settlement. As long as your not part way through a city refresh operation!

Plots should only appear on city planner built foundations really. It sounds like level 0 has not finished or something went wrong. Do you have a leader there?

Hi! I'm actually not using a leader. I was placing down an Agri Plot and a Residential Plot manually, but I think the Residential plot snapped beside the Agri plot, and then it became elevated for some reason. Wanted to build up Starlight manually, you see, but I do have the city planner desk built up.

I had something very similar to this the first time I tried to build at starlight. Got me really frustrated, so in the end, I blew it up, waited for it to clear down. Fast travelled elsewhere for a while. Went back and started again.

This is not a follow on from your last post. I meant this in general.

So I should just blow up the individual plot and try again?

Er... how do I do that, meaning, deleting the plot itself? I just checked my settings and I apparently turned off a setting called Auto Place Plot Foundations, so maybe that's it also... not sure how to redo now.

Yes, I would. But wait for the city to be completely gone. Then, removed any plots you placed. Then start again!

Sorry... so, this goes back to my base question... um, how do I remove plots I've placed? Is there a tool to do this on the ASAM sensor on a plot? Or is it something I build at the city manager table?
