Hey in the battle of quincy quest when reaching the power room with the valves jake says find something around the room to cool the reactors i searched the whole room nothing was there except the 3 valves i turned one twice and he says it cooled it down but if i turn it again or any other valve it heats back up if there is some sort of sequence your supposed to hit it in or something i dont know but if theres meant to be something lying around the room it isnt there im bamboozled on how to cool these reactors help would be appreciated

I believe i figured it out i was frustrated and just started spamming them randomly i believe when u walk in the room hit the right one twice then the middle and it will heat up then hit the right one only once and then the middle and it worked for me

I genuinely have no idea how I did it. I was just spamming the valves til it worked.

arguably the buggiest part of the mission, to the point I cannot proceed at all (Jake is dead for my playthrough, maybe that's why)
I would argue this can be divided into at least two smaller missions so I can use the cheat skip

if jake missing or captured by gunner, lupe will fit in jake's role i guess

oh, I had only Aiden, and he will 50% chance literally walking out of the room before the room was locked, ending me being locked in the room and I cannot do anything with activating these valves

I've completed the game with dead Jake. Even if Aiden leaves the room you should still be able to turn the valves. I've reported him leaving the room awhile ago so I imagine it will have been fixed in 3.0.1.

I did what you posted and it worked. So that has to be the way to do it.

I thought it was punishment from the outer gods that Aiden leaves (very cinematically) and I have to do that power puzzle by myself lol. Even with Jake alive he doesn't help much in solving it (should be different in current beta and eventually next patch). And after going through it previously still had no idea how to progress it. But I'm notoriously bad at puzzles and mods tend to stop holding your hand at the worst moment

I’m not much for puzzles either. I’m glad this post was here, I finally managed to get through State of War, and then hit this puzzle. I just wanted to get to the end! I finally finished the mod! Great mod the only thing I didn’t like was the HQ, great idea but way to much micro management.

There is a clue to the puzzle. I don’t remember where it is. I think it’s on the terminal. But it tells you the sequence the generators cycle power, which is supposed to clue you in to the sequence you’re supposed to cool them down.

I was distracted by a typo that had Jake repeatedly saying "The rector is heating up". I wondered what had gotten a cleric so angry.
