Old Post Small "issue". Not sure what to make of it

The "issue" I'm experiencing is that the settlers in my custom built Sanctuary are not patronizing the commercial and recreational plots I have built for them. However, the visitors sent to Sanctuary via Sim Settlements do. Doesn't seem to be a pathing issue, as their respective owners go to and from every day like they are supposed to as defined in their AI, and the prior mentioned visitors have no issue getting to them. I would wager that it could be an AI issue? The settlers work their jobs from 8am to around midnight, instead of quitting at 8pm and going to the bar, or whatever.

Update: Started a new game, same issue. Any ideas?

I'd send in an extra settler or two, let them remained unassigned, and see what they get up to. Not any sort of answer to your issue, but it would at least give you a clue if it's the settlers themselves at issue or whatever is getting added to them by their assignments.

I'm often surprised by the fact that my unassigned minions seem to work harder than those with assigned jobs. Lots more sweeping goes on.

If you have the DLC that let's you, you might try building a quitting time siren and see what happens. Maybe they just need a reminder you are a good boss and not a complete task master.

@quicksilverva, the very best advice :bye I have for you if you have started a new game "is"

Do nothing :scratchhead

I call it being "proactively patient" :this

Why I say the best advice is "there is a ton of things that you could do" Let your game break-in.
Almost everything else I could suggest could make it worse or do nothing other than just giving you something to do. That would not be a "good thing." :good

Ok. Seems I have jumped the gun on reporting the update. Didn't have my bar set up at the time. lol. My fault on that one. Did try the quitting time siren as @bullyrook mentioned, and I had a couple settlers meander their way into the building, so there's some good news.

I reinstalled Settler Sandbox Overhaul, which put the plugin back as an .esp where I had initially converted it to an .esl. I believe that had to be compacted in the CK to do it, don't remember right off. Whether or not that had any culpability in this, that is to be seen, since that is the only mod I have that modifies the AI packages.

Save is not as new as my premature update post insinuates. I have approx. 26.5 real time hours in this, or about 1 month game time.

Ok. The actual update this time:

For shits and giggles, I went and removed the compat. patch I made for Settler Sandbox Overhaul and UFO4P, and between that, reverting Settler Sandbox Overhaul, and starting a new game, seems to have fixed the issue for now, as I have settlers getting drunk now. lol

This started right after the last issue. Is there a way to force settlers to go hang out at the OTHER plots after work? They all seem to want to crowd my docIssue 1.jpg
