I lived in a small hometown community, and many of the shops had residences over them. Any chance of a mod that combines a residence over a shop? Places like Ten-Pines Bluff would benefit from being able to build such a plot.

Thanks!

That would be awesome

Problem still is, that sandboxing in this game is a real piece of...art when it comes to anything beyond ground level, so it would be rather cosmetical than anything else. Plus it would take away quite a bit of the gameplay mechanic if you had shops that double as houses.

Agree. Most of the vendors in Diamond city do reside in their shop. Which would make sense in a dystopian world like FO.
It would also save space, SS is a bit demanding on realestate areas. There isn't that many shops in a settlement either. But I guess it would take an overhaul of the SS mechanics.

Just as a followup in case anyone finds this via links in other threads (I did).
What I do for this is build my own two story building, and then put an interior shop plot in the bottom, and a residence in the top.

Now, of course, this is not where as nice as a prebuilt (or stackable) plot, but you get the idea.

If I recall correctly, kinggath actually mentioned doing this in the video where he explained interior plots.
