shooting range settle interaction

when the day is done and its time to kick back a beer and shoot at targets...

all my idle settles gather near the front door of the shooting range, some may wander through the front door, but nobody actually walks up the stairs and uses the target range, is that by design or is something wrong?

I've never seen them actually shooting either. I think there simply aren't any idle markers for that. Actually attacking something might cause problems, so, no idea...

well since everyone gathers around it i started putting chairs and such around the shooting range so its a little less awkward heheh

Settlers generally don't like pathing to second story places. Another possibility is that the building may not be navmeshed correctly to allow the settlers to use the second story, though I suspect that the building is likely navmeshed, so it's most likely the first possibility.

whil standing and watching them for a bit i DID see one wander upstairs, but didnt perform any interactions

I notaced that too, so when one gets built I use the markers from Settlement_Markers upstares and it works fine. So I figure there are no idle markers up there.
