Question settlement happiness

Hi,
I've installed workshop framework and am experiencing a settlement happiness problem. Happiness in all settlements is stuck. SS planners desk says it should be climbing but it never does.
my save isn't clogged with active scripts. Any way to reset the mod?
thank you

there should be an option under city manager in either your pipboy or on a terminal to recalculate local data - you may want to try that and see if you get a change in the happiness level. also - if you have robots in your settlement, they incur a happiness penalty - so under workshop framework there is a slider that can be used to set the default happiness for robot settlers to 100 - i'd try both of those fixes and see what occurs?

Hi,
thank you for the reply
I've tried the rebuild local data. So far no result. I've got just 3 settlements built, sanctuary, stuck at 78, red rocket, at 50, and Abernathy stuck at 50 as well.
Are there any mods you now conflict? I do have better settlement defense, more attackers and skk combat settlers in my LO.
cheers

skk is fine - cant say about the others - if you go to reports under your pipboy - the happiness report will give you an insight into how happiness is - and what tomorrows value may reach. check that out.

make sure you've got food/water covered - beds covered and go off and do stuff - eventually time will pass and hopefully you see a change in values.

I don't think that will work.
All the parameters are maxed out and happiness has remained stuck for game weeks.
Simsettlements happiness report for sanctuary says it's 78 but next day should be 81. It detects workshop framework and indicates it's relying on it for the report which means that workshop framework's own report says it should be climbing and yet it doesn't change.
I checked earlier saves and happiness was working normally with WF, then it stopped.
this mod really doesn't like me
thank you anyway

okay, in that case, can you roll back to a point in your save history where this was working previously and pick up from there?

wish I could but I don't keep that many old saves.
I keep 2 or 3 rolling saves and saves from important changes in my load order, such as when I installed WF. Happiness was 48 in sanctuary both prior to installing WF and immediately after, so I'm sure it worked for a while.
I also can't pinpoint exactly when it stalled. I monitor my saves regularly and saw no abnormal behavior, active scripts have remained low throughout. I could revert to the save prior to WF but I think I'll just save my builds with transfer settlements and start from scratch. I'm not that far into the game anyway.
The pity is in terms of performance of the settlement system it did seem to improve quite a bit.
thanks any way

if you installed mods during a live play through, that's not going to end well. it's not as bad as removing mods - but honestly you're better off starting a new game rather than adding things in that will completely change the way the game is played.

I see your point but I usually install mods during a play through without problems.
A prime example is new settlement mods, which are notoriously problematic. I install the mod prior to going to discover the location, unlock the settlement and verify if everything is working ok. If not, I revert to the previous save. It's worked for me so far.
It's usually not anything as impactful as WF but I was weary of installing it, having had a previously failed experiment with the mod when it was first released.
cheers

hard to say for absolute certain and also hard to say if its a bug and really just a question of time. it depends on a lot of things, load order, adding/removing mods - and also a flaky game engine.
all i, or anyone can do is give you some guidance - and best practice is to make a load order and stick with it until you are ready to start over.
@RayBo has a great post about baking a save on these forums which can give you a lot of insight and guidance. you should search for it and give it a review.
