Ok so a week or so ago there was a member looking at seasons for fallout 4 and trying to figure out if it could be done using f4se, I present seasons of skyrim it has changing seasons requires skse and a coupke other papyrus and editor mods but basically does exactly what the fallout 4 seasons team was looking into. I have no technical knowledge how this works I just remember somebody was looking for something similar. Generally if it can be done in Skyrim it can be done in fallout so hopefully this transitions over cause it seems pretty cool.

One thing to keep in mind is xSE has much more support in Skyrim than FO4. There are many things that can be done in Skyrim that can't be done in FO4 due to this. As far as I'm aware, F4SE does not have any plugins that would be useful in controlling the weather.

Recently the weather control for f4se was released that allows enb to work with weather. But I’m not sure the weather portion is needed this is more proof of concept that seasons can be done with a texture editor I guess or a base game id editor so somebody would need to make a similar functioning base Id editor.
basically this

either way I’m just hoping at some point it can be done cause a seasonal system would be pretty cool.

Like I said, they do some really cool stuff in Skyrim that is not available in FO4... :( That object swapping plugin is pretty cool! :cool
