Scrap Mod or No Scrap Mod? Scrap Everything or Some?

Ok to start I have in the past used STS and Scrap Fallout currently using scrap Fallout and don't scrap everything just some mostly trash and the dead bodys you can't scrap. But wanted to know what other players use for there settlements.

Interestingly I discovered this in sancturary when i scrap some trash in the house by the bridge

Some trash is inherently scrapable. Right now I'm using Scrap Everything because I remove all existing structures in a settlement when I build.
 
Fun little pointer. If your using a mod that allows you to scrap more, and you scrap a safe, you'll get the contents of the safe even if you cant pick it :)
 
I use Scrap Everything - All DLC + the Ultimate patch. Also the bUseCombinedObjects ini tweak. Works well.
 
No problems with Scrap Everything so far when using ScrapAll command to every settlement. I use Place Everywhere after to move the workbench. Spring Cleaning mod has a possible issue causing plots not to sink correctly.

Yeah, the mod works great. And the things you can't scrap (like Nuke Cola) is avaible to send to the workbench. Where all the other materials were send alrdy. Candles btw. (for oil) are not collected, if you scrap the table or workdesk. You get the wood, but no oil. If you wanna collect the candles as well, you have to scrap them first.

No. I have one roof I can't remove in Sanctuary, all other things (even the ground) have never cause any problem in any of the villages. The mod is a "must have" inmo
 
I use scrap everything myself. Discovered an odd thing with it, you can crap some enemies when they attack you, lol.
 
I use spring cleaning and that seems ok
lol I can junk the Vault tec guy
 
Has anyone tried the scrap everything on the xbox it says there is a holotape yet I can not find it at all and it just functions kinda like sts but with a few more things scrapable you cant scrap the houses or anything like that at sanctuary

you can remove that one roof by removing the very top part first. its odd. but i figured that out after skrewing up my save the first time i went nuts with it.

only problem I have with scrap everything is that it causes a bug where you can't place things on certain concrete surfaces, the castle, home plate, starlight for some people, and other places. it's a well documented bug in the scrap everything mod page comments. the author has been working on it but is a very tedious fix from what I understand. at the time I didn't use place everywhere, so I guess that would solve the problem, if I'm wrong about any of this please correct me.

place everywhere has limited scrap everything functionality, you can toggle extra item selection on and off.
 
there was a great one I used for Xbox 1 before only playing on PC. It had a picture of a dust pan as the logo. It was REALLY good. Spring cleaning was really good also.
 
would try spring cleaning but looks like its not out for xbox unless it is hidden did to searches on bethesda and got nothing

I'm on PC and I use Scrap Everything plus Place Everywhere, it's a really powerful combo since you can do almost whatever you want!

But Place Everywhere I think it is just a PC mod, you need to start the game using F4SE instead of Steam, I don't think it is possible on Xbox (I don't know, never had one).

The only bug I have on Scrap Everything is in Sunshine: I removed the silos but their ghost was still there, the wall power conduits were snapping on their surface.
I don't anyway remember if I were already using Place Everywhere at that time so it may be solved now.
