Ruined homes and gardens new stuff... photos

Not sure how the "update" function works on NMM, as I never use it myself, just easier to uninstall the old installation and install the new one. I didn't change the file names or anything, so there shouldn't be an issue...

You will have to "refresh" pretty much all the plots though... I changed all the models in some form or another.

The odd thing about that is, the Nexus knows it an update, as it moved the old file to old files and this is the current file, so I am not sure whats up with them... might just be a weird hiccup...

For me, the default Nexus settings had new uploaded files set as new main file. Unless changed, that would auto set any other files as older.

So are you leaving the old downloads in NMM when it says it's an update? The first time I ever saw it say a new file was an update, I just said no, because I know NMM has issues installing sometimes... I don't trust it to overwrite and remove unnecessary files that would be involved in an update... Hell on a clean install it doesn't always put files where they need to go :)

I just did it like other Nexus mods that dont auto update and deactivated and removed the old version and installed the new version.

Refresh plots didnt work. Having to destroy and replace them

For version settings. In the add New file screen I changed "this file is a new version of an existing file " to yes. Left category as main. Then checked this is the latest version.

Personally I prefer when mods just put out new full versions instead of patches plus full version. For someone with a slower internet connection, I see why patches would be preferred though.

I will look into it, but I didn't change anything that would cause that to happen.... I am at work right now, so I can't test in an old game...

Yea, I only put out full new versions

I did a great deal of testing beforehand, so now I am worried I missed something. Have you tried to redownload it, and start the game again?

Ok, something seems to be wrong with the gardens. They dont look complete. Most of the plants are sunk into the ground. They dont change from tier 1 to 2.
Here are 2 screenies of Lucky and Good value gardens at tier 2

Yes. I removed all the gardens, uninstalled the mod, went back in game and saved, then reinstalled RH&G 2.0.

Yea, that's definitely not right, it even looks like stuff is spawning outside of the garden.... So its not using the right building plans..... you wouldn't by chance be using Sim Settlements Building Plans Tags and more would you?

Yes. HAHA!
You know I was wondering what was causing some of the weird issues with some plots with SS lately.
Plots respawning on their own or on top of each other. They seemed to crop up soon after I installed that mod.
Now I know

*Yep that fixed it. With a simple refresh plots look as they should now.

Does the mod creator know his mod b0rks other mods like that?

Whhhhhhew! hah....

That mod replaces all of the esp files for the add-ons it touches, so any new changes etc wouldn't show up until they update it... You should be able to fix it by removing the tags addon and reinstalling all the SS add-ons to refresh the esp files... then refresh the plots in the game.... Or wait until the building plans and tags mod updates, if he can keep up with all of the add-ons updating... It's going to be tough because there are lots of us :)

The hydroponics lab looks really cool! Of course, they all do :dance2

Thank you... I noticed last night, that if you snap the 2 tier three plots together, it makes one large greenhouse.... completely unintended... maybe :)

A new Greygarden! That's where staying within bounds will get ya'! No funny things poking where they shouldn't.
