Removing AWKCR Dependencies in an NPC Mod

I've been trying to remove the AWKCR dependencies in the since-removed "More Feral Ghouls. A Zombie Mod Optional patch for Unique NPCs" by following some online tutorials, but they are all related to situations involving armours with the added keywords. There are no added armours with the mod, just NPCs.

I've simply no idea what I should be looking for that needs to be removed. I've tried Cleaning Masters by itself to see if that worked but to no avail.

You could load the plugin in xEdit (FO4edit) and run an xEdit script on it. I can't remember the name of the script, but its something like find records with plugin as master. You run the script on the mod you are trying to remove dependencies from and it will give you a list of records. You would have to manually look at each record and see what form is being referenced and change it to a form that is not in the master you are trying to remove. It is not an easy task and I am unaware of any other method to do it. It requires some degree of #IknowwhatI'mdoing to accomplish.

Is it "Report masters"?

Yes. If it's just npc records it's most likely the outfit. In which case (I'm guessing you have Unique NPCs without the AWKCR dependency) you should be able to carry over the records that were made in that plugin. I would have to be able to look at the plug-in myself to say for sure.

Yeah I'm using the UNPCS and Supermutant Redux Patches, great work by the mod author.

I'll have a root around for the archive, I probably have it saved on one of the hard drives.
I'm only using the AWKCR-dependent patch because the original mod was removed from Nexus while I was playing my old save with AWKCR and Armoursmith. There was an optional patch without those dependencies if I remember correctly, but I didn't get to download it as I didn't need it at the time.

Whoever originally removed AWKCR from UNPCS is a patient saint. I started modding years ago (ancient times when there were no scripts to help and you had to do it manually) by making patches removing DLC dependencies for mod authors. So if you feel you think you've done all you can with this I can take a look at it. I'm also curious why a patch was needed for More Feral Ghouls since I use that mod myself.

I don't know the rules regarding uploading plugins without permissions from the author etc. but I don't believe they're even on the Nexus anymore. I'll just leave it here and await a ban. XD

Best to do a PM in this case. The file then won't be hosted here. ;)
