Info Needed Remote Management won't finish

I did Remote Management, got in and out of the memory lounger (did all of the request). But it won't finish. What is the quest number and the finishing code as I don't want to mess with the software tape.

I tried to use the software tape, and complete Remote Management, but it finished out Chapter 2... Not what I wanted. I just wanted to finish/skip Remote Management.

Remote Management isn't currently a Main Quest, so is not included in Quest Skipping.
The quest id is: SS2C2_SQ02. If you cannot load a previoius save to try it again, up to you if you want to use a console command to complete it.

The getstage shows 220 and won't advance beyond that. So I think the Quest is done. But the message in my data stream is still stuck with "Help with the memory lounger" part of the quest.

So will the main quest continue processing while this is stuck in this mode or will I have to go back to another save and go thru this and about 5 hours of play time again?

You'll likely have to skip to Flickering Lights quest (first one in ch3) if you're stuck because of this. I'd guess from a save that still has Commonwealth Rising active, as remote management has to be completed. But I'd make sure it isn't a sorter issue or anything.

Commonwealth Rising is still active. Looks like I will go back to my save just before hitting the doors at the Memory Den and go from there.

And it completed, but still showing up on Commonwealth Rising. As well as the marker to go talk to Jake, who doesn't reply at at all.

Yeah just quest skip to Flickering lights and wait 2 days. Not sure if this happens to everyone if you delay remote management till the last moment but I had that.

if you are trying to submit a save for investigation, if you have more than 20 mods installed, devs can't use it to investigate your issue.
They can use a save that has SS2 mods and kinggath mods, building plan addons, but more than that makes it very difficult for them to investigate and to be honest, they don't have the time to download all of your mods installed and replicate your load order to investigate.
Most save files are too large to post here. You need to put the save on google drive, or drop box and provide a link to it here. It's the .fos flie that they require.

What is the current objective you have in your quest log for Commonwealth Rising?

Commonwealth Rising:
Checkout whats going on in the Comm Array Room
Help Lupe and Jake complete her memory lounger idea

getstage ss2c2_sq02 : 220
getstage ss2c2_mq27 : 230

I feel your pain! If you're looking for the quest ID and a console command to finish it, you might want to check with the mod's documentation or the modding community. They'd likely have the specific details you need.

Actually this is part of SS2. The quest above is from the wiki pages, and the results of the getstage command. Cessori told me that the quest steps changed when Chapter 3 came out. She has not updated the wiki with the step descriptors and numbers.

Ok, for Remote Management, the quest hasn't completed -- I don't know why. I just played through this quest on 3.0.2 without issue.
For that one you can try using a completequest console command and see if that completes it for you. Stage 220 is the last stage of the quest.

If the above works, then for Commonwealth Rising, for that to continue, the SS2 department heads need to all be in the comm array room.
You are on the stage that is supposed to start the scene.
If leaving HQ and coming back, doesn't find the NPCs all gathered there with Jake, you will need to use the City Manager Holotape and quest skip to Flickering Lights.

So Remote Management is on the last stage of the quest, you said it was on 220. There isn't another stage to set.

For Commonwealth Rising's scene to play correctly, all of the Department Heads need to be in the Comm Array Room. That's the stage that you said you were on for that. I don't believe that setting the next stage to start the scene up will work for you.
Your best option is either to reload a save before getting the objective to meet Jake there, or use Quest Skipping to skip to Flickering Lights, as previously advised.
When I've played this, if i get the message to talk to Jake and I'm in HQ, i have to fast travel or exit HQ and return to get the NPCs to get into place for the scene to play correctly.

If I understand it right, there are 2 objectives for Commonwealth Rising. One to investigate the comm room or whatever, one to help Lupe with remote management. The latter does not complete when RM does, and this prevents the former from falling in place I guess. I don't remember the exact sequence but this happened to me when Remote Management was started during Commonwealth Rising (the call from Jake about it all going to shit lead to meeting him for starting Remote Management, instead of the big comm room meeting).
