I'm not posting this as a random, "I'm not using SS2 but I'm in the forums and need help" kind of problem, but rather when I disable SS2 specifically, and all the patches and addons I can find, when I start a new game this happens:
Freeze?
I hesitate to call this a freeze but I mean... I don't know what this is. This happens immediately when exiting the character creator mirror and turning around in the bathroom. The pixels get all wonky, and everything slows way down, but I can see the messages on the upper left corner still moving, just a lot slower. I can jump and move, as I can hear my character moving, but I still cannot see anything. I was able to blindly follow my way to the door, where start me up's message kick's in, and was able to input all the info to teleport me somewhere else, but it still freezes after that, this time a real freeze I think.
This is especially weird because when I re-enable SS2 and all the patches and etc I can find, and start a new game, this problem doesn't happen. So I'm guessing I have an SS2 dependency... somewhere, that I didn't disable, but I'm not sure what it is.
Has anyone ever had a similar issue? Or seen ANYTHING like this before? I'd been using mods for a good amount of years now and this one is a new one for me lol
If this is completely new to anyone and you need my saves or load order, let me know.
