This conversation takes place after you have ventured out of the vault in search of your son spoken to Codsworth and wandered down to Concord. After speaking to Jammer, you have decided that this world is crazy and in your anger, you have taken up Jammer on his deal you have killed everything you have been directed at and have now decided to go back to Sanctuary this time with a gang of equally lost souls at your command.

Jammer: yeah boss this place will do nicely from here we can strip the vault and repair some of these houses, hah the name though sanctuary?

Sole survivor: This place will be where we build where we gather and where we will strikeout, it will be a sanctuary for all those who follow me.

Jammer: No kidding boss, any who step out of line will get a quick lesson in pain.

At level 0 only the core houses are fixed and some work is seen as the Sole survivor and Jammer with the gang have moved into these houses.

The Solve Survivor taking what they know have begun to mark out chokepoints and places where the wall will grow.

As the madness started to take hold, the Sole Survivor mistakes a raider for the man who killed their partner and brutally kills them. To make peace the raiders, the remains now rest in a place of honour.

But the Sole survivor can't stop and kills again, this time they do so under the cover of the night and once again to appease the ghosts of their memory they inturn the pore sod in a marked grave.

At level 1 the gang stronghold is starting to shape up. Defences are being put in place and the presence of the gang is being felt across the northern parts of the wealth. So much so that a couple with a who specialise in armour and weapons decided that they would join and set up shop taking prime location right at the gate with their APC and motor home.

20200907175726_1.jpg 20200907175733_1.jpg

One morning the gang awake to find that one of the houses which were unoccupied the night just past now had a bar with an odd-man dishing up drinks. The gang wanted a bar and like some odd magic trick one appeared, they did not question this.

Atop a pile of a ruined home a scrap collector set up shop, the gang quickly learn what to look for when out on a raid as the collector pays very well. This also aided in the specialized settlements works that Jammer and the Sole Survivor had going.

With the gang entrenched now, Sanctuary hills started to be known by another name. Raiders Sanctuary. To reinforce this sentiment the Sole survivor started to decorate the walls with gruesome totems.

At level 2 The gang's stronghold has been trying to cobble together a blast furnace and after many failed attempts have, finally got it working. With this impressive piece of technology at their disposal, the much-needed improvements were able to commence.

20200907093546_1.jpg

The gang had also managed to salvage some pre-war tech from the vault for water purification and through some cleave thinking from the Sole survivor had begun to get it working.

20200907095007_1.jpg

As the gang grew so to did its need for communication and Jammer and the Sole survivor were painfully aware this. With directed effort, a tower was created and equipped with all the best they could repurpose from vault 111 and other sites close to Sanctuary.

As the settlement grew so too did commerce with further shops opening to provide services from clothing to even doctoring, using the space in the pre-war houses.

By this stage, the walls protecting the gang were all but finished.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At level 3 The gang's stronghold has grown to now be a massive base bolstered by commerce and industry. Jammer has done all he can to keep up with the demands of the Sole survivor, he cannot help but think how lucky he got when he called out to that vaulter in Concord.

Sole Survivor: Jammer gather the gang we have sat long enough it is time that we conquer this wealth, I cannot stand it anymore, the mutant the ghoul the pigs of the minutemen and the gunners have attacked us for the last time I will wipe them all from the map.

Jammer: Yeah boss give me a few minutes.

Sole Survivor: jumps up on his truck overlooking the gathered gang members
they turn and address the gathered gang.

Sole survivor: I will remember that day for as long as I live. Standing on the platform to vault 111 as the bombs went off all around. Watching in horror as the place, I fought so hard to protect was vaporized. Then a gunshot as my better half, my Nora/Nate is killed! My son stolen! Labelled the backup! All that was good in me died with them, all that held me in check was, solen, from me, it is time to take it all back.

The noise of revenging engines can be heard as the gang mount up on their bikes and trucks.

Sole survivor leans into the cabin of his truck and picks up the received for the radio and repeats, it is time to take it all back! A cheer is heard over the radio and across the network.

Jumping down from the truck the Sole survivor walks towards the spinning up vertibirds that is finally up and working salvaged from a wreck behind vault 111. Jammer you better be right with this intel.

Jammer: Yeah boss it is solid the gunner are all directed from a place called Gunners Plaza it is the old broadcasting station for Boston.

Sole Survivor: Good I will need that location for the next step in the plan.

mashup mad max, john wick to the music of Metallica. Throw in a dash of liberal crazy and you get some of what I am looking to build here.

Probably preaching to the choir, but Wasteland Venturers (AIO) has some awesome plots that would fit your theme really well, the "Chosen One" recreational plot is one of my favourites.

They came in the dark of the night, Dogmeat was the first to notice, letting off a growl that awoke the raider boss. Gunners, and in force. Someone with caps wanted Karvoc gone.

Quickly he set off the silent alarm alerting the gang to prep for a fight. From within his fortified house, he switched the cameras over to night vision.

Opening the gate to allow them to enter, a bold move.

Love the gate! Witness!

I finished the I love you house (to the right) and the church. But now I will have mayor issues burning the I love you house down before L1. My story needs rewriting.

(Edit: removed the pics so to not confuse with your build)

Ha ha! The "I love you" house. Correcting my rude language. Oh well, the I love you house it is then.
While buildning the interior I made this corridor with a red carpet in it and thought I might add a reference to The Shining so I placed a little tricycle at the end and it promptly fell through the floor never to be seen again.

It got that rust belt vibe. Hope you use lots of industry plots, and more smoke stacks. Looks great!
yes, there is a ton of that going on.

little by little I am building an epic raider base.

Below is some of the view from the control and communications tower.

I have kept the destroyed houses for the most part where they were only moving one, below you can see one such house that I have built on with a crain and a shop with some power turbines. The area on the road is the primary chop shop and repair for the raider vehicle hence all the crains and security.

20200827172225_1.jpg

A large settlement like this needs clean water the windmill pumps it into the purifier and the many chambers boil and filter the radiation out. Just because I am a raider does not mean I have unlimited access to rad away and not having to drink radiation is just smart.

You can see the small landing pad for the Vitibird at this stage it is just the default one I will raider it up as I work my way from the front back the house underneath it is the raiders bosses house and as such the heart of base is there. Inside is a surprise.

I have added to the gate and walls here, outside of this the houses are empty, build limit willing I may fix them up so they can be used for extra beds as the gang grows. I might leave them empty so the player can expand out into them. 20200827180500_1.jpg

The water tower and communication tower from the ground. The water tower is 90% done the coms tower is next then I will work on finishing up the signage for the stores in the house, as well as decorations lighting etc. So much to do.
