Radio Freedom has turned off

I had just finished some settlement expansion quests and went back to Radio Freedom to get myself some more, but the station had just gone silent. Curious, I went back to the Castle and discovered that the Minuteman in charge was sick. I passed him a disease cure and he injected it and went back to sitting at the radio desk, but the station didn't start up again, and in the week or so I've been away taking care of some chapter 2 stuff, it still hasn't.

Has anybody else seen this happen? What would you recommend?

If you're running a city plan there, I'd check if the right one is powered too - there can be multiple of them. I think WATM mod lets you reassign him but shouldn't be needed.

No city plan, just straight buildings. There's only one transmitter and it has the broadcaster assigned to it:

my settlement isn't reporting any power problems, and the terminal itself looks good.

If I power cycle it by disconnecting and reconnecting the wire, it does play the radio freedom intro and say "nothing to report", but after that the station goes dead again. It's very strange.

Further updates: cutting the power and sleeping for a day in the undertunnels, then coming back up and turning the power on, resulted in a couple settlement quests getting queued up, but Radio Freedom's gone back silent. I hope I don't have to do that every time he gets sick.
