I'm currently in the middle of a game using the three in one mod.

I've been reading that the Conqueror expansion adds a new way to play as a raider but I'm wondering if there are any new features that peaceful players can use?

I'm currently enjoying my minutemen play through and I don't want to conquer the settlements I've made (or other peaceful settlements!). But if conqueror allows me to better militarize my existing minutemen settlements then that's something I'd jump right on.

I'm also using the logistics mod for sim settlements if that makes any difference.

If you’re running a successful game right now I would stick with that. Put conqueror in on your next run. One of the main Features conqueror adds is pre-built settlements which has to be done at at the looks menu at the start.

Other factions haven’t been added at this time so not much value at this time. You would have to restart the game to get the whole experience.
 
I enjoy playing the Minutemen as well and have also played through as a Raider with Conqueror. One of the things I have a hard time reconciling with the two (Conq and MM) is my character coming across a huge, thriving settlement that needs my help. It would seem that a level 3 settlement would be able to handle those 4 pesky gunners... etc.

Having a Faction Add-on Pack for Conq will likely be an awesome thing, but the base Conq. as a MM seems... odd to me.
