Q: No Photoshop rule #3

Do you think you can relax that rule to allow clearly title text like MaxGax did in his October 2019 entry? I liked how it looked and was clearly not attempting to deceive.

I am thinking trying Longfellow's Cabin as soon as the King gets off his sick bed and posts the entry thread for November 2019. Trust me I know how lousy that feels after spending a summer on that sick bed.

Actually, I completely forgot about the no Photoshop rule when I did that, but you are right. I only used it to label my pictures.

Here's the rule:
"3. Do NOT "photoshop" your images. Don't overlay any graphics, add text, or combine multiple images. If you want to apply some sort of filter to enhance the color, we won't be able to tell the difference between that and an ENB, the purpose of this rule is really just to avoid people adding things or combining images."

I can understand not being allowed to add graphics or text that implies that its part of the build, but just labeling your levels seems harmless to me.

I agree and since a few things have changed in the second year maybe this rule can be relaxed. I think it is useful and if MS Paint can to is it really Pohoshopping?

we will look into this ,I think text would be fine but we will discuss it first before any rule changes are made.

I do want to vote for MaxGax's repair depot. I would hate to see it disqualified for a technical violation, especially when there is no attempt to deceive in the screenshots.

I was just re-reading the rules to see if anything has changed in the last 9 months since I last submitted a city plan.

Whoah. I just realized that I broke that rule in both of my first two settlement entries with the labeled overviews. Somehow I didn't connect that wire properly in my brain. I probably would've done the same for my Master's build, too, but the settlement's too much of a warren for it to be effective and I was frankly too lazy to fire up Photoshop. Now I'm glad I didn't!
