i am having minor mostly visual bugs in pre built settlement plans, its like i cant upgrade the defence plots to tthe robot station as i then can no longer walk thruogh the gate at planet X oberhaus ,
And in several other sets when changing the used single person interiour set to double person the bed works but graphicaly there in the middle of walls

This is why City Planners often insist on use of the Designer's Choice option being set to "ON" - the structural design of the city may not work if you change out what they have selected.

I would wait until they level up to the final level, usually level 3 then make the changes you want.

What do you mean
Designer's Choice option being set to "ON? Is there a setting I have missed if so where do we find it?

Designer's choice is a setting that allows city planners to predefine which exact blueprint is going to be built in that spot. You can read up on that here. By default is turned on. I see no reason to turn if off. You can read up on it here.
Exactly - and often the City Planner has placed plots that work in that exact space based upon the layout of the furniture or walls of that particular plot, so if you choose something else it may not look right.
