Question Problem on Starting Up

I am new to SS and have been experiencing weird situations recently?. When I selected Sanctuary Hill as my base and started to set up a city plan, strange things happened.
1. I wanted to use the Homemaker Planters to have a better food yield, so I demolished some of the SS farming plots and placed planters instead. However, farmers originally working on SS farms are not attending to the new non-SS farming items. I had to roll back to? previous saves to avoid an issue.
2. Ruined houses that I already scrapped returned, and settlers built new residential plots right on it rather than on a clean base after recycling the derelict stuff. There are doors directly snapped to the ruined houses, with no actual in-door room of actually building anything, since the house has already collapsed. I scrapped the ruined house manually, and the doors/other signs are floating!
3. I found several shops with nobody attending to it.
Is there anything I should do on the issue? Or is there a through guide on how to? start up?

Do not quote me on this but for issue #1 I think it is a setting either in the holotape or Mod Configuration Menu that deals with auto assignment and farms. It has been a while since I have taken a look into those menus. On issue #2 sounds like the city plan might have attempted to reset the area to match it but not 100% sure. For Issue #3/Guides take a look at Kinggath's YouTube page he has video tutorials on almost all things he has done with Sim Settlements.
