Power Armor Basement

I can confirm that the Power Armor Hoarder mod will function with my Power Armor Basement.

It also looks like I can use Sim Settlements in here.

Woohoo!

I collected about ten frames last night, so I'll be moving in tonight.

Now I just need some blacklight posters and beanbag chairs.

Ten PAs successfully sent.

Built a two-tiered receiving area, trying to decide how to decorate.

There ought to be heaps of room in there for mega power armor. I'll start the process of transferring mine tonight.

Thinking about it, I should have put in there a smaller room for kitchen/dining and a few couches. Maybe a spot for a player bed. Hmmm.

A built-in separate player-home, in a huge industrial-sized basement/potential settlement. I can see what version 0.2 is going to be.

Hang fire guys - I appear to have made an error in this. Looking into it now.

Now fixed and new file uploaded.

Another update has gone up. This one fixes:

* Vanilla Workshop mode not working (ie people who don't use Place Anywhere can now build, and it snaps to floor as you'd expect)

* Rearranged the stairs and the entrance to the first room to make things look right and deal with some irritating clipping issues

I will work on adding a smallish kitchen / lounge / office area that can be converted to a player area. The entrance location that I'm thinking of will be in the wall left of the doorway into the second (bare) room.

That'll be a week or so away. Maybe longer, if I'm unlucky - I'm on call right now.

Great work so far man! I'm enjoying it! I haven't experienced any issues. I'll be waiting for the next update also! There is something to be said about using a mod created by the ppl you communicate with frequently on forums. ESPECIALLY here. It's like watching someone you know do something really cool and then sharing in the progress and then the finished product! Thats part of the reason that SS is so good to me. I get to interact with the creators, read about and discuss all the stages of creation as they are passed. GREAT STUFF, Man!!:drinks

Maybe 60% of the visual stuff is done. Then there's the invisible stuff in the background.

The exit lights, aircon units and fans, factory signs, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, etc are part of the basement.

Note that I do have a fix for Place Everywhere being able to select/scrap the floor/walls/ceiling. I may as well finish off the basement in the process though.

Whew. The companions were starting to complain about having to pee in the corner behind the old T-45 suits.

THAT'S what that smell is?!?
Guess I should apologize to Piper and Ol' Dogmeat...
I was convinced someone hadn't been using the Doggie Door or Someone needed to give themselves a proper washing!!!

Piper and Dogmeat are pretty well housebroken, but Cait'll pop a squat whenever and wherever the mood hits her.

Poor Curie, fastidious as she is, is still getting used to her new body and occasionally gets surprised. (The first time she had to take a dump, I swear I thought she was gonna die of embarrassment.)

And of course, I long since learned not to even let Strong inside.

Barb is an excellent companion! Ideal even, I am such a clumsy doofus that all those simpacks come in handy. Great mod!

Still I understand the hord of unused power armor
I am not a fan of power armor
and
Skin is, well “a good thing”

I have been using Aurora along with Barb and Heather. Good mash together - aurora hums and sings and can pick locks. Heather is awesome and hacks terminals. Just picked up Barb so we shall see....

and I don't have my redeem certificate yet for Ivy.

New version is uploading as I write, I'm going to test an install from Nexus.

This version should not have the floor/ceiling/walls deletable/selectable by Place Everywhere. (Doing the test to be absolutely certain of that.)

New areas added:

20181128024230_1 (Large).jpg
20181128024238_1 (Large).jpg
There will be no more changes to the rooms or the like. Just bugfixes, and eventually proper scrapping for certain tables/benches in the area.

Test confirmed, it all works. Enjoy and good night!

I may have missed this, but how many power armors and stations are you including in this mod? :) just want to know how many I get to play with....

or is it power armor not included****

LOLOL! It’s power armor not included - you’ll have to provide your own. :) Only the space and about ten stations are given.

The Armor shown in my screenshots, that’s the results of my personal packrat obsession. ;)

And a whole lot of dead Brotherhood troopers.

So many dead knights, it looks like Agincourt out there.
