Hey all,
So I'm playing with the Minuteman faction pack (I just can't bring myself to play the bad guy) and I'm not really feeling like the good guy. So I "attack" a settlement, kill all the gunner/raider/etc. and then all the settlers pop up (thought I had to "free" then) and then they hate me right away. I then feel completely thrown off as hey, I just liberated you. They don't like giving tribute... but I didn't ask for any tribute, and it seems like I get penalized for "conquering" the settlement.
Is this a thing that has to be programmed in? Like praise, thank-yous, and supplies not tribute. Or something the mod author forgot to do when setting up the faction?
It would be nice to play the good guy, get a notice that XYZ settlement needs help and to be liberated, and once you do that, they "join the minutemen/brotherhood/railroad" and freely provide supplies to the Outposts to aid in liberating more settlements.
Just my thoughts after putting in 5 or so hours of play, or am I maybe doing something wrong, like selecting the wrong options?
Thanks all for the great work, for as long as I could take it playing the raider, it is an AWESOME system and superb addition to Fallout 4!!
