Patch 4.0.3 is now live! It includes updates for Sim Settlements, Three in One, and Conqueror.

- Adds some new quest content to Conqueror! Part of which unlocks a new item that can destroy settlement objects.
- Slave collars can now be used on random NPCs out in the world to convert them into "settlers". These NPCs can be commanded in, and out of Workshop mode, but can NOT own plots. They are kind of an experimental feature for now.

Hotfix 4.0.3b takes care of an issue where Ophelia would refuse to talk to you in Shaw. She should now talk to you shortly after you kill all of the enemies there.

FYI - if you updated in before 11:45 CST on Friday, grab the 4.0.3a update which restores several missing voice lines!

There is already a mod developing the theme of slavery - Just Business. It is periodically updated and I think you should look at it. For example, on submission level: low-level NPCs cannot be placed on guard, in a store, or on a supply line.
In fact, it is interesting, we still have a slave system from Miami on our way. A wonderful year to be a raider!

Thank you! I've tried a few broken or not really functional mods to achieve this, hopefully this works. I I do not understand the point of this mod currently. I love the concept, but so far all you can do is have isolated raider outposts that don't do much. You can't even move slaves between them which makes no sense.

All I want to do is start out with my band of raiders, take over settlements and either kill or enslave the population to work for my raiders in factories and farms while they focus on raiding and partying. There seems to be so much artificial restriction on what you can do for no logical reason with this mod and the "forced" storyline is annoying.

Everything has its time, @Athanaric. The system of slavery is a rather complicated concept. Implementing it is not easier. But the team will achieve its goal. It does not matter whether they collaborate with the creator of Just Business, or make its own system by trial and error.

@nepogoda I get it. My point of frustration is mostly that it already seems working? If I raid a settlement and turn it into a slaver outpost, the settlers there who get captured have collars on and are labeled enslaved etc. You just can't move them. There's no explanation as to why. Vassal settlements just have settlers....

If it's just not fully implemented, totally understandable. At the moment there seems to be no point to the slaver outpost. I haven't seen anything yet that explains clearly how things are supposed to work.

If you can't move them between settlements, that is a bug. I'll get it sorted eventually.

The storyline is there to introduce the mechanics over time and give players an alternate way to play the game, if you don't enjoy that part, this mod probably isn't for you. You might want to try your luck with that other mod nepgoda mentioned.

So I'll see if this patch fixes it but with the Bethesda net bug still looming I'm hesitant to mess with my mods. But anyways I haven't been able to get any of my settlements to switch flags over to Minutemen for a few days now. Im the general with the Castle and everything not sure what the problem could be .

Thanks for clarifying. Your mods are what keep me playing FO4 actually, I don't mind the storyline and enjoy it, I just don't like to be forced to do a certain play style. I've tried to play exactly what it seems Conqurer intends to be with combinations of other mods etc without much success, so when it came out I was ecstatic.

Glad to hear it's a bug! And I apologize if I came across ungrateful or like a jerk. Obviously, there is a ton of hard work and time put into all of sim settlements. I've been in a sour mood and stressed out and its showing on my previous postings.

Look forward to seeing how this evolves over time!

Unlike the previous expansions, Conqueror is happening in stages. The mechanics we have planned are so massive and complex, that doing them all at once would result in untold numbers of bugs.

By doing it slowly over time like this, we can balance and bug fix things as we develop, and get help/input from the community. It's an experiment for sure - hopefully it goes well.

If you'd like some insight into everything we have planned, check out the multi-hour live stream I did on Youtube the day Conqueror came out. I talk about a lot of what we have planned and answer people's questions about it. Might make interesting background noise for you.

The flags are locked by default. Do you see it in the list? If not, you have to complete more of the Minuteman quest - or change the settings so Ignore Factions is On. With that option on, after you load your game again, all of the flags will be available regardless of where you are in your save.

Just downloaded it myself and can't replicate this. Perhaps the download from Nexus corrupted for you.

At one point they were in the list then all of a sudden they no longer showed up. I tried putting faction requirement at none and nothing changed. The only flag I can put up is the American flag .

Thank You for another great update and for a hard and amazing work over best mod ever created for any Bethesda game. Keep walkin!

In the options, it's called Ignore Factions. You want that set to ON, then save your game, exit, and reload.

I got into Shaw high school before 4.0.3a came out but have patched it since. Jammer is following me around but he won't enter Shaw (if he is supposed to). I killed all the Super Mutants and Ophelia said she would meet me at HQ. It has been 1 or 2 in-game days and Jammer is still following me around and Ophelia is still in Shaw so I think something is messed up for me. Is there a console command or anything I can do to move this quest along?

Will need to start from a save from earlier, so that the quest triggers will all work correctly(the un-hotfixed one will have already had things go wrong if you got into shaw). I don't remember the exact point it would need to be but safest bet is to load a save from before the quest was started.

It apparently updated but now it won't install, it says this operation cannot be completed. Xbox I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the new Shroud Manor update. Please note it is 4.0.3a

when i get that error from either trying to download cc content of mods/updates I reset my MAC address on the Xbox and then perform a Hard restart, depending on what xbox one you have you have to either hold the power button for 10 sec and then turn on (one x and I believe the s as well) or hold power button for 10 sec and then unplug cord until light goes off on power supply. Bethesda said the fixed it with yesterdays patch but it still happens.
