Patch 3.1.3 - What Happens in Starlight

VERY happy to hear about the optimization plans for XBox. Thank you!, all the SS & RotC team!

Next tech tree sharing for industrial revolution yeaaaaa x) Thks for the patch and your work !

LOL and I just started building in Starlight Drive In. Oh well there is always next play through, plus I think I am going to make Starlight a town for unlocking the Tech Tree so people probably wouldn't want to live there anyway.

I suspect that if bAllowedSettlements is completely missing from a leader card because the esp was from 3.1.2 then the default behavior is no settlements.

This may be why only the leaders which come from Sim Settlements by default are showing in the leader selections for me now.

Edit: Or not. Curie is the only available leader showing now but the new property wasn't added to the existing leader cards. I can't assign any of the named NPCs from my existing settlements despite the ones added by custom leader mods working on 3.1.2. A change was supposed to hide leaders if the settlement hadn't been claimed, right? It seems to hide them regardless.

I am seeing a new copy of Industrial Revolution on nexus but not on bethesda.net. Is this right ? Did i miss a detail and i only need the tech in one town to build things in other towns?

because is just the change for number for NMM.

How does the new version check to see if a leader should be available?

patch note : Leaders that start out as settlers should no longer be assignable as a leader until after you’ve gained control of the settlement they are a part of.

So, here’s a little note of oddness about the update. I have the mod Better Map and Visible Roads installed, but it never worked. It’s so small anyway that I guess I just never bothered removing it. At one point I tried changing load order and stuff, but it has never worked. Today, without changing anything except updating SS, boom, it works.

So, do with that what you will I guess

@Karyusan what about the leaders that are part of the mod "Settlers of the Commonwealth" with the mod to make them work for SS? And this is for Xbox.

I definitely control the settlements. The Sanctuary, Grey Garden, and Finch Farm NPCs should be in the list at least but none of the new NPC leaders added with mods are available since the update.

Yeah all those guys are there and I have those settlements built already. I was trying to move on to building a few new settlements but didn't want to use any companions as leaders and wanted to use some of the NPC leader settlers that you can find throughout the Commonwealth, but it appears to be a no go.

maybe because sim settlement check when you find the settlement and not if you already control it ?

I had to stop and start the leader quests for them to work again. I posted the information in the "bugs" forum. I was able to use custom leaders after doing this.

Basically, in the console:
stopquest skSIM_leaders
startquest skSIM_leaders

I exited the console briefly after stopping the quest but I'm not sure that was necessary.

So how many CC Arcade Packs did this patch sell?

One, for sure!

I'm getting a HUGE lag with the HUD display. It hangs onto the last settlement I was at for quite some time before updating to the current one I am in. (SS 3.1.3) Does the hot fix correct this?
