Patch 3.1.2 is available now!

Updates available for Sim Settlements, Rise of the Commonwealth, and Industrial Revolution.

- We revisited and improved on every single city build, from removing floating items, adding more resources, and even added some new custom signs to the settlements that were lacking them. Refresh any of your existing cities to see the changes.

- 3rd party mods can now add new leaders.

- Introduces Leader Traits which ensure leaders have a strategic purpose and interesting gameplay effects to the settlements they are in charge of.

Your costs should only increase by the number of new generators and defenses built, they should then come back down over the next 10 minutes while the game processes all of the scrapping of the old items in the background.

Should I remove the crash fix patch after installing this update?

Edit: I'm presuming so for now.

there is a way to force to recalculate the maintenance cost maybe ?

What if you disable the maintenance costs in the settings and then re-enable them? Or maybe disable and refresh and then re-enable maintenance costs?

I just updated to 3.1.2. (manually). Love it, except for the fps drops throughout the entire map. Before the update i played at 65-80 fps now i get 25 at best? Am i the only one with this issue? CPU and GPU dont even hit 50%. No other mods were altered / added besides SS, IR and RotC.

Might just be you, I'm not noticing the same issue.

The crash fix should be included in this update if I understand correctly, I think this is the crash fix:

From the patch notes: "Televisions used by Sim Settlements are no longer animated and won’t display anything on screen. This is an unfortunate sacrifice made to avoid a Fallout 4 crash bug they trigger."

The crash fix is included.

@Marcel Thelen - the only things that will generally affect FPS are texture sizes, extra lights, and triangles - the patch doesn't change any of those things. If you're suddenly seeing a massive FPS drop, it sounds like your precombined objects are being turned off. If you have bUseCombinedObjects=0 in your fallout4 or fallout4custom.ini, that could be the cause - or if you're using a mod such as Scrap Everything or Spring Cleaning. If none of those are the case, you can try rolling back the mod to see if it helps, but I can't fathom anything Sim Settlements could do to cause an issue like that just from updating it on an existing save that was already using it.

No clue how that HUD Framework thing's supposed to work. I've seen the video. There's none of that in my game.

It's hard to tell if it installed correctly. It doesn't seem like it, true. Nvm, leaders don't have traits too. It says it's on 3.1.2 tho.

You guys absolutely certain kinggath uploaded correct version, right?

where you downloaded ? on bethesteda.net is the right version i guess i have the leader trait.
