Patch 2.1.1 - The Brewmaster

If you downloaded the patch between 7PM and 1 AM CST, please re-download! The version I uploaded before had a problem caused by my XEdit cleaning script which would cause none of the recipes (or the holotapes and ASAM sensors) to spawn out in the world.

Correct, only new beers. New liquors isn't out of the question for a future update though!

Apparently, there was still an issue with the second version I uploaded to nexusmods.com - uploaded 2.1.1a which I had several people confirm from downloading it there, that it does fix the issue where the holotape would not spawn in the museum.

I must have uploaded the same file twice last night instead of the fixed version... I should probably start sleeping again.

“The Brewmaster” is a fabulous addition to SIM Settlements. Wow… I am gearing up some mods for a new gameplay of FO4 that include Horizon mod with SIM Settlements mod and “The Brewmaster” is a key element to the gameplay! So Kinggath... Thank you, THANK YOU!!

Perhaps you have the Intel for a “Settler mod” beyond mortality activated and HP tied to Horizon mod. Basically I want to mod Non-essential Settlers to have 12 in-game days lifespan (upgradeable to 60 in-game days via speech check election). So recruiting these “Settler-Ensign” instead of FO4 vanilla settlers. And yes tied to SIM Settlements AddOns…

Thus the non-essential Settlers level of difficulty is raised even further than mortality by raiders and others. The player has to reset the “Settler-Ensign” lifespan within 10-12/55-60 in-game days so as not to loose that settler tied to a SIM Settlements AddOn!

Reasoning: If one is playing Horizon mod for the Lone Survivor, why not raise up the heat a notch further... Settlement Defense and medic to “Settler-Ensign”.!!

I had a dream recently where I drank some Sim Settlements beer. It was made of tarberries, I think. It tasted... interesting, but not bad. Somehow sour and... astringent-y? Come to think about it, this has to be the second time ever I actually had a dream which included the sense of taste.

Still in the dream, I wondered: does this stuff actually contain any alcohol? Nah, probably not, Kinggath probably made his mod G-Rated :D

I pretty much figured the unregulated alcohol content of post-apocalyptic beer is probably pretty high.... borderline moonshine.... how do you think everyone's teeth got so pretty?

True. But my dream self didn't even realize that and there is alcohol in the game itself. And Fallout itself is rated 17+. Though I have no idea if you are allowed to drink with 17 in the US of A.

hah... nope no drinking at 17 in USA.... no jet either! I SAID NO MAMA MURPHY!! :)

I also had dreams of the SS beer..... Except mine involved @kinggath asking me for more labels just before the update...... SO MANY BEERS!!!

On to the wine labels!

We also need cask signs for all the beers.

And taps.

Over here you can drink beer or wine with 16.

Dunno about wine. It's beer country over here. A two-headed radchicken as a chianti knockoff maybe? :D
