Setup Oberland as a settlement, 2 different playthroughs on 2 different computers...

Both settlements are brand new with only 2 settlers and one of them as leader and only housing and farms for the settlers

BUT on both water is showing as 96, there isn't a single pump or water resources plot in the entire settlement

went in game and looked, no hose, circled around the tower a couple of times, widened the circle and still no hose or anything resembling one, did find a plunger. (and that link you posted didn't work)

yeah nope not there in either of my games and since when have those hoses provided water...if thats true then Sanctuary would start with over 400 water,

oh and I've played this game since release, and built settlements at Oberland on at least every playthrough before and after Sim Settlements and never had that much water there, unless I have the settlements extended mod running and I put water purifiers down on the beach (and didn't have that much then either)

i've never seen that in any play through i've had either. is that hose placed there by some mod?

Its a clutter decoration from the game. Only way it can be added intentionally is by including it in a mod thru the Creation Kit and to make it provide water you'd have to write/build a script in the CK and append it to the properties of the object

It is added by SS, is in other settlements as well providing water there (e.g. Tenpines behind the ruined house) Not sure where the other hose would be, that is the only one I have found thus far.

Ok went to Tenpines and found it there and it does show 100 water, which is truly baffling to me, it totally throws off defense-ability especially in newly built settlements Convenient because you don't have to build pumps/wells etc but 100 water? 20/30 would be more than enough and not invite every raider/Gunner/whatever to come visit
