I just cranked up the DLC for a full raider playthrough, are there any precautions I should take to ensure everything plays nice before turning a fully built SS settlement into a vassal? Cut off supply lines, remove management desks, ect,.? I'm mostly thinking of RoTC.

Thanks!

There's an oxymoron Raider & play nice in the same sentence. LOL!
If you're taking the Raider route.. you shouldn't care if it breaks the settlements.
Just take care of business! If you can't.. there's plenty of collars laying around...LOL

Seriously though..no prep work, just do the raider stuff.

You can make a settlement a vassal at the foundation stage and they will build the city up to level 3 as long as you have LOW involment turned on.

For raider city ,1st claim the settlement with your flag ,then store that flag (once it becomes a city u cant build it again) . Then build a desk and assign a leader to it, then start your city build.

If your raiders ever get attack by a patrol don't help them ,your leader will turn against you and mess up the city lol

Man, you sure have a point. I need to get out of the Preston Garvey mentality if I'm going to do right by my new Overboss...

This is all very helpful to know! I've always played around high to medium involvement, seems fitting for me to tone it down for this playthrough. Thanks for the pointers!:grin

no worries :) o wat I forgot to say was that in a vassel settlement you can still fully acces the plots so u can change them to something else :)
