I am starting fresh and would like to know which mods to load to get the most out of Sim Settlements?
I know there is a 3in1 Sim Settlements with Rise of the commonwealth and Industrial Revolution, or just Sim Settlements and the other two as separate mods. I'm guessing that they should not be intermingled so what is the best way to go and is there a list of what mods to load to get the most out of everything?
Thank You...

hey @Gimzi

hahaha, I don't see why you wouldn't want to use the 3in1 so much easier :umnik2

hahahaha, best mods.:king Kinggath is doing a video playthrough, I also recommend watching the videos.

kinggath plays Fallout 4 Sim Settlements

Below is the link to the mod list he is using.
Mod-List:

Mod List and Playthrough Info: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1y...

I think it good to start there.

I love playing Fo4 with SS and have over 400mods active in my game, but I am not recommending one to you.

Why?

I feel if you are asking that question that the example provided in a current playthrough with the actual mod author will give you the best ideas for a satisfying experience,
  • be the most up to date on what is working with what
  • the mods he is using are fan and supporter recommended. :yess
  • He is using the current versions and testing himself and he has a dialog of issues he has with his mod and sometimes others and how he handles it.
  • I would say that many of the primary mods you need to transform the game to a better and different experience are included in his mod list.
  • A good FO4 game can last 100's of hours, poor mod discipline can ruin that for you. You would have to test my / other users mod recommendations in your own game "likely doing several restarts and much research". Using his list "ready-made" might make that process better and less time intensive. :good
If you have specific things you what to add or do differently please come back and ask but as an all-inclusive response to your question the above is what / where I suggest you start :bye

Sorry Everyone!
I know when I don't get long winded about a question, the meat of the question gets misunderstood.
I was only asking about what Sim Settlement mods to add.
I have my own mod list I like but I was asking about a Sim Settlement list.
I needed to know that if I use Sim Settlement 3in1, should I avoid also adding Sim Settlements, Rise of the commonwealth and Industrial Revolution?
What other mods (in the sim settlement family) help to make Sim Settlements more effective?
I know some of the mods I must have to make it work. Like
1. F4SE
2. Hud Framework
3. Settlement Menu Manager
4. Workshop Framework & Workshop Plus
But I'm not sure what other Sim Settlement Mods I need to flesh it out and get the most from Sim Settlements.
I hope I made sense this time as I know when I type a question like this, I even confuse myself when I re-read it sometimes.

Thank You for your patience with me!

no worries @Gimzi, I misunderstood!

Really all the add-ons are great. :clap

Given KG did the framework there is consistency in what you get so it turns into a bit of a preference thing. The best way is to read there description nexus page. :bye

I mean there is raider, wasteland, "fantasy-mid evil?" institute, alien, water, giant, animal, the list goes on..... hahaha, yes "not specific enough" :lol

I have and use them all. That is the only way I am happy :grin

:acute That is my answer and "I am sticking to it" :happy

Yes use the 3in1, that's all you need. You do not install rise of the commonwealth and industrial revolution separately everything they offer is contained within the 3in1

You should grab the mega pack it will help add far more variety to your settlements.
For variety in your city plans try the competition mega pack.
If you want to try your hand at becoming a raider you could always try conqueror
After that it's just a matter of what you like, there's loads of stuff on the nexus.

If you were looking for other tools like WSFW and WP+ etc, then no there's not much else. You have everything to get SS working to it's full potential.
