Fixed New plots don't get built upon

Hi, I've posted a similar bug report on kinggath's sim settlements page (on nexusmod), but subsequently I think I've mostly narrowed down to this addon pack. As of now, only the 'Modern' model will be completed if it's chosen for the plot, for the rest the scaffolding (and the construction audio) goes up as per normal but disappears after a while, and only the base remains.

I've tried changing building models using the Architect's T-Square; using the Immersion Breaker Breaker to refresh the plot; moving the plot then canceling action; and destroying the affected plots then replacing them with new ones, but none of them solved the issue (one settler was even doing the blowtorch animation on her plot).

I encountered this (brick house) in the same way. One time, I simply scapped and replaced with another home. I just let the random house build as it was planted.

The 2nd time (not sure if it was one of these), I just reassigned from Jun to Sturges and it reset the building process.

May not be the answer, but sometimes you have to use... tricks... my guess is the vanilla engine. Glitches within game are not restricted to this particular issue.

Hmm could be possible... I've only recently managed to get the game to work after a period of CTDs, not sure if the save file is corrupted along with it.

Though what I don't understand is that only this add-on pack's models (with the exception of the "Modern" one, I even built two of them just to be sure) consistently didn't complete building.

Are you using the Latest version from nexus 1.1.1

this is odd, I would recommend uninstalling it, start your save, test to make sure everything else builds fine, save, and then re install the mod. Im sorry your having issues gettingg it going. I know in the previous version I had a broken parent script that caused this issue but this has since been fixed and the only 2 current issues im aware of are a ba2 archive related (user end) and the brick house has an extra bed. So try a clean save and before you close your game to reinstall make sure to test the other building first.

Do yourself a favor and demolish the kevbal buildings before uninstalling it.

Hi, just an update: after doing the above steps...... it works, but then it doesn't work? I could build the first few with no problems at all, but after a few buildings it stops working again. Switching out the plot to kinggath's original models (by either the Architect's T-Square or picking up the plot then cancelling action) does not solve the issue either, and the plot remains unbuilt. However, so far now I could still get the plot to work now by force-updating the plot, then picking up the plot and cancelling action (but rebuild the same model).

Anyways, I would like to say thanks for the mod... minor bugs aside, it really makes my big settlements a lot more beautiful and "richer". My only gripe otherwise is that it appears on wooden foundations, which totally doesn't fit the look! :blum

no it wasnt a bug, the last version had a stop at stage 0 which is just the base. it has since been removed. check nexus for the new version. notes in change log. Sorry for confusion. glad you like the houses though.
