Need of guidance

Im on xbox 1 S n im using 3in1 rotc just need some advice how to run this smoothly as ive literraly restarted 9 times im on my 10th playthrough due to constant crash once entering a sim settlement at any build level ive spent many hrs resorting my load order so to stableise game as we all know some modz just dont play nice with others. I recently resorted to buying anew xbox 1 S thinking it was my processor at fault. When getting the holotape i leave performance as it set i have it respect build limit i dont activate for more lights or items i do not use SS in sanctuary yet this crashing is the bane of my game . Any advice would be gratefully recieved plz help oh wise oracles.. ty for your time

Yeah i have it on my google drive i followed its example but slightly switched some modz around i consulted that plus researched other sources the way i have my load order is as stable as i can get it
 
Which is why im here hoping this amazing community can solve where im going wrong to get SS 3in1 to run as smooth asi s possible
 
"No buildlimit" might be the culprit. Sim settlements has a tool to increase the build limit.
"Passive water resources" might be suspect also.

Otherwise You will need to disable all your mods except Sim settlements, load and check for crash, then enable mods one or two at a time until you crash.

Hey there. I’m on Xbox 1 S too and I eventually had to accept that I wasn’t going to use city plans. Those are made by PC users with their own machine in mind and they are not as limited as the Xbox. I tried finding one city plan that wasn’t going over limit and I had no luck. On most I was over limit by level 1, I didn’t bother trying to see how much over limit I could get.

There is an add-on called simple settlements or something similar that is said to have plans that are under the limit but even those were using a big chunk by level 1. And it had other issues that made me drop it.

Keep in mind, I’m trying to use this with the original build limit without increasing it. Others who play on Xbox with city plans might tell you what plans they are able to use without issues but I personally didn’t find it with my decision to keep the build limit intact.

If you use them what I heard is to:
- limit them "total number" like 10 or less
- Nerf all the Performance settings in the city manager halotape.
- Set to Manual vs. Auto to make sure that they don't upgrade past your currents games capabilities. Understanding that you may need to roll back your save once something upgrades.
 
No problem. It is the way I decided to play. It allows me to minimize any non plot building so that I can get as many plots as I can in a settlement.

Also I try to use interior plots when possible as they seem much gentler on build limit. With this in mind I looked at your list and saw that your add-ons were limited, not many plot options in your list. So I’ll take the liberty of highly recommending a few packs:

SirLach’s intimate interior and Junktown interiors (Unless you use Junktown in its entirety). Combined they are less than a MB for something like 25- 30 plots. They both use designs that don’t use the entire space of the interior plot. Some 1x1 square and some slim plots, ideal for maximizing use of interiors (I count half a dozen rooms in sanctuary alone where I use these). Also need place anywhere for these and you might need to fight the controls a bit.

After that it’s up to your preference but Ill do some shameless promotion for one add-on in particular (because I helped test it and gave some ideas) it’s RS Buildings. It’s a very useful add-on with some clever space saver plots (interior in an exterior plot for a house/work combo, two residential combined for a shared house, an apartment building etc).

And then there are all the other plot add-ons. It’s a long list with a few out of date and no longer supported mods but most of them are still updated and some are just plain freakin awesome. If you want a longer list we can continue this discussion but I believe it’s more fun to discover things by oneself. There are some unique and brilliant packs out there that cover a range of styles (new brick constructions, water based plots, raider style etc).

You know i never even thought of that 1 of the no dlc thank you. Ive not played FO4 for few days as real world stuff has to come 1st but let just say thank you everybody for your insight i truly appreciate all suggestions nd nuggets of insight you are all fluffing amazing
