Started using the Red Rocket Settlements mod and got sidetracked while running over to Croup Manor to set up a new base for the Railroad. The Red Rocket station turned out to be a pretty good place to test out Uituit's new Junktown Fences.

Oh yeah, the placement worked out really nicely there. I got really lucky with the station prices sign kind of getting incorporated into the wall. On the other side, the mid length wall juts right up into that broken house to give kind of an emergency exit.

:) does Sim settlements run well with that red rocket mod? I know some settlement mods hate SS :(

Yes But 1.6 has issues, so I use 1.5. Also put it absolutely last in your load order. Some mods, including scrap everything, overwrite location data so you can not create supply lines.

Your Red Rocket pieces and Uituit's fences really blend well - and love seeing the Caretaker's tower there! Also, the little medical office is cozy. Nicely done!

I use the 1.6, but have removed scrap everything (conflicts and I like the more scrappy/trash look - hence LUV Uituit's work!). SS with Red Rockets have always worked for me (even having SE)... even at that time, I broke away from the dictate "SE must be last in load order." Walk away from that mode of thinking on SE, or any mod really, many conflicts just disappear.

BTW, I also have the Mystic Pines, Bridgeport, Breakheart Banks, and the 13 settlement collection I use at times. SS works well on these as well. Even in Conquest, SS is good (though the HUD needs meter doesn't work properly as you walk around the Conquest area).

The specific (and unfortunately for me, reproducible) bug is that my settlements get bugged at 20% happiness. This can't be reproduced with 1.5. I got hit with it back in July, and others have been reporting it longer. Unfortunately it looks like real life has taken a hold of tarsis31 so I'm going to stick with my last known good release.

I haven't had the happiness bug. Sometimes I neglect them and they drop but as soon as I start upgrading that RR, the happiness goes up.

Lucky. I got the every RR settlement at 20% bug. It was immensely aggravating. We could keep reproducing it with 1.6, but we don't know *why*. We could not trigger it with 1.5, so that is where I will stay.
