My Recruitment Board is not working. How to HQ - Recruitment Board issue.

Hello everyone! I have a big problem with recruiting settlers (or companions), the dialogue is not going to pop up when I have the Recruitment Board active as a weapon. Before I was not able to take the Recruitment board because of some SS2 Chapter 2 issue, now I am using SS2 Chapter 3 All in one mod and the board is not missing anymore, but it is completely useless. I already tried to craft another one Recruitment Board using City Planner's Desk. If there is any solution for this (looks like unique) problem, I will be happy to have any support.

You might want to try adding the Workshop Framework Script override, it is an optional file with the WSFS mod.

Also, you may want to consider not using scrap everything as that is listed in the Wiki as known to cause issues with SS2.

Thank you for the suggestion! I tried your method, but looks like my savefile has been corrupted somehow and only on current save I can see these issues now, because I tried to use my friend's savefile who uses similar collection of modes as me. And at his saves everything was working fine. Also, I have met another one bug - 999 cap at HQ (save corrupt issue too).

And now I have no idea how to fix this corruption of character.

This issue with things in HQ showing up with 999 is a known issue right now that is being worked on. It is not save corruption on your end, or an incorrect load order or anything.

So could the Recruitment Board be fixed somehow if it only works on the different save file? I was trying to find what to do to solve this "recruitment menu won't appear" bug and stumped, but I am not losing hope for this, because I love this mod so much.
 
Im still having a similar issue - I can equip and use the clipboard and the dialogue option of asking do you want to work for me appears. The pop up to send them to GNN comes up - hit enter to confirm - settler says yes - then nothing. No popup to say what department appears. I've tried disabling the ask for department in the holotape but no difference. Disabled all scrapping mods. Tried the Workshop Framework script override.

Is there a console command to assign a settler to HQ?
 
Not that I'm aware of.

Can you provide your load order (plugin.txt) ? Not able to reproduce this issue.

SS2 can often be affected by Item Sorters that "tag" SS2 Objects - or rename SS2 Objects.
The Recruitment Clipboard is a Weapon, so maybe this one is causing the issue with your Recruitment Clipboard.

I can't say for sure, but I don't see anything else. Many Item Sorters have a way to skip tagging certain records, so if it has that option available you should set the item sorter to ignore "SS2" records and see if that sorts out your Recruitment Clipboard functionality issue.

Interesting - disabled the item sorter. Now it comes up empty here. Previously it would only have GNN as the option.
I didn't suggest disabling it. Only that it could be renaming SS2 objects, and that if it has an option to ignore SS2 objects when it does it's sorting, that you should do that. I never use Item Sorters, so am not familiar with those mods and exactly how to do that.
