Moving Existing Objects?

Will objects that already exist on at a settlement be effected by moving/scaling them for a city plan? Like if there was already a car at Grey Garden, could you move it or do you just need to place an identical car? Same question but for scaling (and I guess making sure scaling will work at all) ? Same questions but for objects you placed on a different level?

As long as you can do it using Place Everywhere it will be fine .

Depending on what the object is I'd keep an eye on it to make sure it's not causing problems. Sometimes the vanilla existing stuff is problematic. The beds in the Oberland Station building were throwing off the bed count/settler limit in mine, I kept getting limit of 17 instead of 15. Had to scrap them & replace.
