Mods that alter the Triangle o’ Death

Hello,
I have tried to limit mods that change ANYTHING in the triangle of death region….
I even quit the Beantown Interiors (and others like it) for fear it was causing issues.
A lot of you have helped with my Scrap Everything addiction, too. Gonna try Clean My Settlement.
for the longest time, I was using a couple Of sanctuary bridge mods…..but CTDs are common when crossing the bridge….is this because of being in the heart of ToD, or was it the bridge mod, I wonder.
Question: which basic sanctuary bridge fix would be safe? Or should I forget it?

I removed True Storms. the only flora mod is Natural Green.

"Triangle of death?"
Sanctuary, Abernathy, and Red Rocket. It's called that because if you overbuild, you will be CTDing, usually when trying to get to Sanctuary. As it has been so excellently explained elsewhere, it has to do with the game having to render all three sites at the same time because of the way the engine handles rendering a block of cells around the player's location. Recommended is to pick one to fully develop, or two for more modest builds. Not developing more than one at a time is also recommended, especially if you are using city plans. In my case, I always use Red Rocket as a personal home so I don't have to worry about settlers stealing my bed.

Ah, okay. Thank you.

I did notice a lot more CTDs while building in either of those three settlements. I don't like the Abernathy Farm area too much anyway so I'll probably just build a bare minimum settlement for them.

That’s a great article…and thorough…I’ve read that.
my main question is though, is a sanctuary bridge mod not going to interfere too much with it.
On its own, probably not. The whole "Triangle of Death" thing is basically just too much all being loaded at once if you're standing in the wrong spot, something that 'basic' on its own wouldnt cause it unless you were already pushing against that soft limitation.

I got the Triangle of Death at starlight drive in
I've read elsewhere here that it has more to do with its proximity to Lexington. If you consider how much is going on in Lexington and rendering along with Starlight, it makes sense. I like to use Starlight to place the first beacon, but I also start scaling back Starlight when it becomes too big for its britches.

I did star light, sunshine co and red rocket and it caused it, but I was able to just go back to a old save befor I set leaders to them and that solved it

There are a few bridge mods that redo the precombines for the bridge so it wont be an issue the one I’ve been using recently though is This one. with any thing like this that changes or alters previs precombines or anything related it needs to load very low in the load order. to function correctly it can’t be overwritten by anything else that changes the same area or it won’t work and could possibly cause crashes like you are having.

side note this bridge mod works perfectly with clean my settlement / raze my settlement and place anywhere that’s the 3 mods I use to clean and scrap my settlements and for placing stuff.

Could this also be the reason that while down town I constantly get the disappearing buildings glitch? I mean, they're still there, but I can see through walls, ceilings & floors. It slightly fricks with my brain when I'm trying to walk around in that area when it happens. LoL!

That is from a mod that breaks previs and or precombines but the buildings pop in and out is from previs. I’d look for any mods that effect the downtown area and go through them looking for incompatible mods. This happens with Eli’s armor compendium mod a lot if used with other mods or just with mods that alter the area but don’t fix previs.

this could also be because you have a mod to high in the load order mods that change or effect precombines and previs need to be dead ass last in most cases with only patches after them.

There is a patch for Eli's that fixes downtown
