Mods from more than one site

So I have modded my games solely with the Bethesda link, but they don't seem to have some of the SS2 addon's and other mods that I've seen recommended like BuffOut4 and such.
My question is, is it ok to use Bethesda mods with Nexus ones or should I just stick to one of them?

The game doesn't know where mods come from, so you can use mods from as many places as you want. I've got mods from Bethesda.net, Nexus, Lover's Lab, and some self-made mods that aren't anywhere.

The only downside, if I were to have to say there is one, is that it just means you have to visit more sites to check for mod updates. That's all, really.
