It's fairly straightforward. Simply follow the Builder's Toolkit tutorials for creating plot buildings, and there's a field called ResourcesGenerated on the building plan properties (you'll learn about it in the toolkit), that let's you point to leveled items to generate products each day.

Personally, I prefer tutorials I can download, in case the website disappears, I always have my own copies - so that's how I release the Sim Settlements tutorials. The Toolkit is updated regularly and the New in This Version pdf in the archive tells you what has been added or changed.
