Low End Computer Problems.

I don't blame SS or Conqueror for this. I just want to let you know that really low spec computers seem to choke. I was super excited for this so I cleaned out my mod list. Only running SS 3 in 1 Conqueror and SSK script lag detector. I chose Low for settings, left all the citys how they were, chose 10% randomization. First time I was able to get out of 111 but when I approached codsworth and went though his dialog he glitched at the end and wouldn't search for the bloatflys. so I went, killed the flys and he still would only give me the idle dialogs. So I left, went talked to Jammer, killed all the raiders. Killed the trapped settlers, but the second door wouldn't open. So I TCL my way through, Got the power armor. started the fight, Crash when fighting the Deathclaw. So I started a new save. No Lag Detector. the rest the same. Now 111 will not let me out. Get the pipboy, open the door, and the alarms sound but no movement. No computer voice telling me to stand clear.
Now my system is under system requirements for Fallout 4 but I've played SS, RotC and Industrial since the beginning. No problems. I have about 130 mods in my list normally. I normally use TOP for performance textures to make it a bit easier. I usually play at 30 to 40 fps even in southboston (it does dip there though).
CPU: i5-4460
Mem:8gb

So yeah low spec. Again. Less of a bug report and more of a "Doesn't play well on low spec machines"

I wanted to update this as I do have it working currently. I seem to have crashed while approaching sunshine tidings pre-built. But was able to just kinda sneak by it without looking that way to get to red. The only bug I've run into so far is settlers and civilians dying after taking my first vassal settlement
How I fixed it? All mods removed even my CC ones. Verified local content. It downloaded a couple of files , then went into game and took my time Left 111. went to sanctuary. Put my mouse down. Made coffee and a sandwich,. Would walk over and jiggle the mouse to prevent my screen turning off.. Watched TV etc. About an hour later started playing. All seems OK. For now. The sunshine tidings thing scares me though . Only mods I have right now is ss 3 in 1, conquer, raider overhaul, workshop framework, workshop plus, hud, mod config manager, settlement menu manager.

My box is even lower than yours: i have an I5 2500k at 3.3 GHz 8 Gb DDR3 and an R9 390 GPU that was good before i got a new 4k monitor
Obviously running at low graphics I have some random CTD and some rare hang that forces me to hard restart, but nothing that doesnt allow me to play

City Plans can definitely push any system over the edge, high or low end, as Fallout has very inconsistent results depending on your hardware config. It's something I've been researching for over a year now.

There was a really bad bug in the 4.0.0 patch of SS that was hotfixed, and could explain why you suddenly can play again.

The NPCs dieing after a Vassal attack should be prevented in the 4.0.1 patch of Conqueror/1.1.1 patch of Workshop Framework. Both of which are due out Friday the 1st.
