I've never taken the raider quest too far and am thinking about trying it again now. Or rather, I'm looking for options while Liberator is fleshed out/made viable.
So. I'm assuming my best bet for functionally complete mechanics is to step in King Gath's YouTube footprints rather than Liberator or even mod-added Faction Packs. The only problem for me is that I feel like Jammer's lifespan after encountering a murderous sociopath PC would be mere seconds longer than Preston Garvey's--he's one annoying SOB (due to great writing and acting!). In King Gath's playing series he mentions Jammer can be killed but qualifies it with "and play the good guy". Based on how my previous attempts at the raider quest and Liberator FPs have gone, I'm guessing if I try to run the built in raider faction and kill Jammer or kill Jammer too early, I would be locked out of some play mechanics, like scouting, slavers, and so on.
