Junk Town

Ideas.....not so much junk as it is roadside kitch. So up in Saugus MA, there are a whole stack of neat buildings along US RT 1, mostly restaurants. Some are now gone. First up is The Ship. Think a bright red 4 story square rigger landlocked in pavement. It was a seafood restaurant, now the place is part of a strip mall. Very close by is the Prince pizza restaurant. The thing about it is that the sign is built on a round tower... a scaled down version of the leaning tower in Pisa Italy. That whole tower is about 30 or so feet tall.

A few miles down the road, you run into what's left of Hilltop Steak house. It's claim to fame came not only from the gigantic portions that came out of the kitchen, but also from it's distinctive neon road sign. The thing is close to 50 feet tall with a wide bowtie that has the former owner Frank Giuffrida's name lit up. Next to the sign was a small herd of fiberglass cattle. They finally had to anchor them into cement because they would get moved or stolen.

I like the ship idea:)
I was thinking about using some of the boats to make an oversized plot ,for places like spectacle island and marinas
my list keeps on getting longer :)

lol yeah anything that isn't nailed down tends to get stolen these days Giant Pink Flamingos;)

May I Have an Forum section for my Addon pack please :)

lol yeah would make a good settlement build though

I was messing around with making a house out of empty bottles , it broke my Ck and nifscope lol so I gave that up

Only objection I have is why this wasn't in the game to begin with... Finch farm owner is supposedly a big junk collector so this should technically have been his house if we were going by lore....

I might have to look at building something like this to see what the poly count actually is - it's mostly decorations as far as I can tell, the actual build wouldn't be too bad.

Most of the signs are available in one of the 4 sign mods I use regularly and the appliances or direct substitutes are already available, many as vanilla or dlc objects.

maybe to much detail but

It looks about the size of 4- 2x2 Res Plots.
If one could make 4 plots that when snapped together it would make something similar
It would also work as a replacement building at Finch farm since there are 4 Settlers already there

What's this about using plots? This would be an awesome centerpiece for Finch Farm. If I get around to trying to build it out, I'll see how much it really takes for resources and if it's small enough, build a transfer settlements blueprint out of it so all can enjoy.

:)
to me it looks like it has 4 red doors on the front
maybe shops there
in that corner a farm plot or two
some home plots for the two story part
and a rec plot or two on the roof
water tower and wind mill
:)

yay for google maps
