Provides large amount of cooked food, purified water, and a nuka cola once a day.​

So is the settler who works it your man-servant or something? Good idea on making it a rec plot btw, I was wondering how you were going to stop the NPC from claiming the bed :P
 
I've come up with what is (I think) the most unique junk collector plot yet.

Weirdness Magnet
Produces Metal and occasionally other stuff.

Shape is a giant U magnet on a pole connected to a bunch of electronic gizmos.
Under it is a hopper dropping to a conveyor that breaks the spawned item down.

Usual collection item is the common ladle for metal. Every so often you get something completely weird - complete wrecked vertibird levels of weird, complete with settlement sound like a dumpster being dropped off a truck in a parking lot.

When that happens (only when you're at the settlement), production is stopped until you go and clean out the blockage by scrapping whatever it is or freeing it back to the wild as the case may be.

Other ideas for weirdness that could happen - one of the settlers from the sim towers mod (you have to grab them and pull them physically out of the hopper), supersized Ladle (4-6 feet tall), entire tugboat, bundle of boston newspapers, Case of vault 111 jumpsuits, clutch of radchickens, Jezebel, Marcy, Preston every time he dumps a quest in your log without asking, etc - particularly funny if they're in Sanctuary and your magnet is at Jamaica Plains - they will then walk back and because they are immortal, its going to take a while... the ideas go on from there. The intent is a comedy effect and a metal junk producer.
 
Really like the tent plot... always wanted to build a minuteman revolutionary "tent city" one would see where are the soldiers would setup.

So, in my case, I always run for the best ending - allied with all factions - save the minutemen... the good ending?

Not sure which one is less bad... everyone wants to "help" the commonwealth - in their own way. Usually at the expense of others.

if I align with BoS, railroad, and Minutemen, do I get happiness bonuses from all 3? Doesn't appear that way... and Mytigio is right, not everyone will be happy. :)
 
I can't wait to get home from work, ignore my wifes complaints and go straight to my computer and build me a shack! :D (okok, I might do my chores for the day, too. There's no gametime with wrath-incarnate in the house xD).
 
@JtBryant Just built my first mayor plot. This is most excellent - thank you.

Quick question, does the settler assigned have any special options, dialog, or functions?

2nd quick question, does the cooler deposit in the workshop if I don't take stuff out every day.

Finally one request - a basement (dungeon functionality?) on my mayor house (level 2 maybe?) - that would be awesome.

Again, thanks so much, this mayor house addition made my day.

Thanks for all the great work @JtBryant!

I've built multiple Guard tent plots at the same settlement. To me it seem lika a natural way of beefing up the defence - add more soldiers. The first plot upgrades fine to lvl3, but the others stay lvl1. Is this intentional?
