Jake is a real enjoyable character and his voice actor . ..

I need to do a mail character to see if there is any difference in the dialogue. He does call Max (short for Maxine) Darlin. :) He's a great character, I love dialogue and they have done a wonderful job with this one.
Also at least sweetheart.

And on that note, I'm not a big fan of either... I've found myself telling him "I'm not your fucking sweetheart" and then shooting him with dissatisfactory results more than once. :rollseye

That's cool. I tend to like lots of options, and have to admit if I didn't like his voice so much I'd probably take an snarky I'm not your darlin option if it were available. :)

I'm gonna have to try the female protagonist, just to witness this side of Mr. Evans.

To be fair, he's a tad flirty with my male protagonist, too.

So I'm not the only one that drag him through half of the Commonwealth each time he becomes temporary companion, only because I can? ;)

That character is great, voice acting is so professional, and really fits the character. I really enjoy company of fun nerdy guy, who's passionate and positive, and big thank you to whomever made him that handsome and well dressed XD Considering his dialogue, comments and hints he gives the player (for example about detective in Diamond City) it really feels like he is a part of the main game, not only part of the DLC. He is designed to help you from the very start and it shows. Great work!
Now, excuse me, I have to get back to rebuilding Commonwealth ;)

He mentions Nick? How do you make that happen? And yeah, he's followed me all over the place. Poor guy. All he wants to do is find the comm hub lol...we will get to that I promise!

He sends you to Diamond City to talk to THE RON at one point (after raiding the sub basement of Vault Tec HQ), and he'll also mention that you could ask "that detective" about your missing son while you're there. At least, that's what he said for me, I'm not sure if that dialog is set to change based on how far into the vanilla "main quest" you are - I hadn't even been to DiamondCity yet on that save.
Interestingly, though, he's written to stick to what the 'main' game does too - he doesn't tell you who (or more importantly, what) Nick is, since the game itself treats that as a big reveal, despite using Nick in the trailers.

Yes, I was talking about that dialogue. I also hadn't visited Diamond City at that point so it was a really nice thing to hear. I love all those small details that I keep discovering in this mod. It's really impressive how the SS2 team intertwined their story into main quest story line. You can do both at the same time, without jumping around the map like mutated kangaroo, which is great for survival mode gameplay.
