I am worried as I am not really using all that much of the build area outside of the castle walls that I am not adhering to the build specs. I am open to suggestions to what I can do with the outside.

You must be getting close the 2x limit as it is. Probably not much you can do outside.

Especially as you seem to be doing a fortified build, it makes sense to me that most of the build would be within the wall boundary.

It is done I am out of build limit. I am about 80% happy. I did what I could with no Nuka World assists. For a raider base I think it looks fantastic hope you like it.

Great work, really strong Raider theme. Was wondering where you'd found the cool banner over the original gate, before I realised it was one of Pickman's paintings. Love the playroom and the clever use of car wrecks.

Thanks, I hope it makes the cut. I really do enjoy making themed bases and this one was by far the most fun. That being said it is my 3rd entry so I have a lot of room to grow as I get better as using place anywhere.

The hardest part is not tinkering with the build once you have said you have completed it. I walk around it and I think does this look right, can I make this better, what can I move to make it feel more alive. Also, what will level 0-1-2 look like.

I have made this base to have a lot of beds. it comes with 15 housing plots and then more beds, the idea is that you use this with sim settlements conquer make it your HQ and you go out and get slaves to run it so your raiders can be badass and not have to.

It has everything a raiders base should have, armoury check, slave pen check, bars yes you better believe it. Yes, it has two bars raiding is thirsty work. The place even has the ability to make its own booze. Thank you blood moon add-on pack it will be needed for a lot of this build and creations by coots.

I have almost every sim settlement addon pack probably missed 1 or 4 so I will make a list of mods that will be needed to make it look as intended. I have been thinking about doing that for my future builds and level 0, 1, 2 and 3 screenshots so you can see the build-up.

Any feedback of what you would like to see or what I can do better let me know.

Really like the idea of leaving extra space for outpost usage. Are you using statics that players can turn into functioning beds by dropping a sleeping bag or mattress on (as I was before realising I don't have time to finish)? As I think that any functioning beds would count for population calculations.

As I think that any functioning beds would count for population calculations.

In a few of my screenshots, you can see prison cells with sleeping bags in them. I have placed them from the normal build menu as slaves get what I give them. so from probably level 1 I will have them spawn. Are you saying this will cause issues or I should just leave it blank and indicate that this is where slaves go place sleeping bags user?

When the city plan is generated it will work out maximum populations for each level based on how many residences/ beds are available. Sticking to the contest parameters; "Must support at least 11 settlers, but no more than 15. That means a job and bed for each settler (from plots or otherwise)" would mean only having a max of 15 assignable res/ beds. My thinking of how to stick to this, while also allowing players the room to expand, was making use of static beds, bunk beds and other sleeping spots, that are effectively saved spots for the player to plonk down their own assignable bed (i.e. sleeping bag, marker or mattress). Might need to mention it in the short description, so players know it's an option.

Ah ok I will have to mod the build somewhat and that is fine I will just add that in the cages and behind the bars is for the player to put more beds for the slaves or prisoners you will take.

In the PBP menu under furniture/beds are some nice non functioning beds. The ones that look like they fold down from the wall are nice and compact, fit into barrack/ cell spaces well and can be placed like bunks. Functioning bunk beds are good to put down as players can then stick a mattress or sleeping bag on the unused top bunk to double the sleeping space. Playing Conqueror has really started to influence how I think about city builds.

I know those I used them in my BOS build in the tug. I suppose I could go back actually I will have to go back and fix that I have too many beds, But I can show players where you put sleeping bags for extra beds.

Ok, I have tinkered with the build taking on the advice from NDCowdy I have placed items like beads which are not beds in the hope that a player will slap down a sleeping bag netting them an extra 10-15 beds. I have also updated my 1st 10 pictures for the last time.
