Is it just me or did FO4 make the Brotherhood complete assholes?

I just re-took Egret Marina - fired up the city-plan because I couldn't be bothered re-doing 5 hours of work - and those douchebag BOS scum crashed a vertibird right into the place, left some of their junk laying in my nice, clean L0 city while I was enjoying the cinematic

I had the same thing happen at Jamaica Plain.

The dying vertibird dang near smacked into me on its way down.

It was kinda cool seeing the crash from above, though.

The crashed vertibird goes away next time the cells loads. You could have popped open the console and disabled/MFD it, long as you tag the parent it should take all the pieces with it :P

As much as I like the BOS, I usually hold off a very long time before kicking in Act 2 and infesting the Commonwealth with them.

I clean out the Police station & trigger the Pansywin as soon as possible. The bos make GREAT target practice! And it fun as hell dropping vertibirds in downtown Boston, then picking off the leftover ducklings.
LOL!!

Arent you kinda forced to shoot them since they kill eveyrthing else in the Commonwealth?

My first play through I abandoned a couple days after the Prydwen arrived because I got sick and tired of finding new areas to explore and finding nothing but corpses because the BOS had beat me there.

Even now in some of my games I can sit there and see like 3-4 vertibirds off in the distance clearing mobs. Then that is disappointing especially in survival where it takes forever and a day for anything to respawn.

So most my games the main story just dont finish act 1, I level and build settlements until i get bored, lol.

The closest game I ever came to finishing the main quest line, my save corrupted as soon as I entered the Institute. This time I have added several quest mods, including Project Valkyrie. With the latter you can end up in control of all four factions, so I triggered the Prydwen earlier than I normally would and now they are nominally well-behaved without having done a single one of their quests. I even sent Danse to the Castle as the city leader without having so much as spoken to him! /evil laugh

It's hard to be certain tbh but I think it's slowed down their exploration. I don't play survival mode though so I can and do fast travel which lessens their annoyance factor.
